There’s actually a decent bakery just two blocks down that the locals frequent – their fresh bread in the morning beats hotel breakfast any day.

Sure, it’s not the Fairmont or anything fancy like that, but for a 3-star hotel, they’re doing things right. I stayed during the shoulder season in October, and the place felt calm but not empty. Check-in was smooth, maybe five minutes tops, and they had useful local recommendations that went beyond the obvious tourist spots. The 9.1 rating honestly makes sense once you spend a night or two there. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, just delivering solid, reliable comfort without the premium price tag.
