Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I climbed to the second floor of this building on Mirza Ibrahimov Street – the entrance is sort of tucked away and you might walk past it if you’re not paying attention. But once you get inside Vernissage Boutique Hotel, it’s like stepping into someone’s really well-curated art gallery that also happens to have beds. The name makes total sense when you see the place – there’s this creative, almost gallery-like vibe throughout, with local artwork on the walls and these interesting design touches that actually feel intentional rather than just thrown together.

What I really appreciated is how the staff seems to genuinely know Baku, you know? They’re not just handing you the same tourist pamphlet everyone gets. When I asked about getting around Yasamal district, the front desk guy gave me specific walking directions to the metro and mentioned which marshrutka routes would get me to Old City fastest during rush hour – that kind of local insight you can’t Google. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable, though not huge (I mean, it’s a boutique place, so that’s expected). The Wi-Fi actually works well, which honestly can be hit or miss in this part of the city. One thing that surprised me was how quiet it gets at night – Mirza Ibrahimov isn’t one of those super busy streets, so you can actually sleep without earplugs.

The breakfast situation is pretty solid – not a massive buffet, but they do this nice spread of local cheese, fresh bread, and really good tea. Plus they’re flexible about timing, which I loved since I’m terrible at early mornings when I’m traveling. Location-wise, you’re really well positioned here. Fountain Square is maybe a 15-minute walk, and there are tons of decent restaurants within a few blocks. I particularly liked that you can walk to both the modern shopping areas and the more traditional parts of the city without needing taxis constantly. The building itself has this old Baku character – you know those Soviet-era apartments that have been nicely renovated? It’s got that vibe but done thoughtfully. Parking can be a bit tricky on the street, but they’ll help you figure it out. For a 3-star place, it punches above its weight honestly, and that 8.1 rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but it’s smart, comfortable, and run by people who care about what they’re doing.

  Нам очень понравился отель, он находится на втором этаже исторического здания и имеет семейную атмосферу. Что касается чистоты, все нас полностью устроило. В номерах было все необходимое, а персонал был очень дружелюбным. От начала до конца все было идеально. Рекомендованные нам турпакеты и советы сделали наш отдых вдвое лучше. Мы выражаем нашу благодарность персоналу отеля за все. Если снова приедем в Баку, обязательно остановимся здесь.

  قمنا في هذا الفندق خلال جولتنا التي استمرت يومين في باكو بناءً على توصية من أصدقائنا، وكنا راضين جدًا عن تجربتنا. الأجواء كانت عائلية تمامًا.
  
  الفندق من الخارج يذكرك بالمباني التاريخية، حيث يقع داخل مبنى يعود تاريخه إلى ما يقرب من قرن، في الطابق الثاني. الغرف نظيفة جدًا، وكانت الشراشف بيضاء ناصعة، والحمام مثالي من حيث النظافة.
  
  الغرف مجهزة بتلفزيون ذكي ومكيفات حديثة، بالإضافة إلى مناشف نظيفة وصابون وشامبو وجل استحمام.

  Недавно я останавливался в отеле Вернисаж в Баку, новом отеле, размещённом в прекрасно отреставрированном историческом здании.
  Отель удобно расположен рядом с улицей Низами, вдоль которой находятся одни из лучших ресторанов и магазинов. Многие исторические достопримечательности находятся в пределах пешей досягаемости, что позволяет легко исследовать окрестности. Кроме того, до Каспийского моря всего 8 минут пешком, что делает его идеальным местом для тех, кто хочет насладиться набережной.
  Их дружелюбие и готовность помочь значительно повлияли на мой опыт.
  
  What could be improved: Хотя в отеле нет лифта, персонал был невероятно полезным, помогая нам с нашим багажом и обеспечивая комфорт на втором этаже.
