Check-in was smooth, and honestly, the whole setup felt more like borrowing a friend’s really nice apartment than doing the hotel thing.

The White City area has this interesting mix – you’ve got these ultra-modern buildings and shopping spots, but then you’ll find a tiny café run by some grandmother who makes the best tea in the neighborhood. The apartment itself reflects that balance perfectly. It’s got contemporary styling that photographs well (let’s be honest, we all care about that), but it’s also genuinely comfortable for actual living. I spent several evenings just hanging out, planning the next day’s adventures, and it never felt cramped or impersonal. The kitchen actually works if you want to grab groceries from the nearby market – and trust me, Azerbaijani tomatoes are worth the trip to the store. Parking wasn’t an issue the times I needed it, which in Baku can be a real blessing. Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places that promise luxury and deliver hotel-room sterility, but this spot manages to feel both upscale and genuine.
