I mean, you’re literally minutes from the city center, but when you’re sitting in their lobby with that marble flooring and those unexpectedly comfortable armchairs, the street noise just sort of… disappears.

The thing about this place is that it gets the details right in ways that actually matter. Like, the rooms have these thick curtains that block out the early morning light completely – and trust me, if you’ve ever tried to sleep past sunrise in Baku during summer, you’ll appreciate that more than any fancy minibar. The bathrooms are genuinely spacious, not just “spacious for Europe” if you know what I mean, and the water pressure is honestly better than what I have at home. There’s this attention to comfort that feels deliberate rather than showy. The staff at reception actually remember your name after the first day, which is rarer than it should be at four-star places. And here’s something practical – they have proper blackout-level WiFi throughout the building, not just “works okay in the lobby” internet that cuts out when you need it most.

What really sets Whitetone apart though is how it sits in the neighborhood. You’re walking distance from some of those little local restaurants that don’t make it into guidebooks but serve incredible plov, and there’s a small market just two blocks down where vendors know their regular customers by face. The hotel itself has this understated elegance – no overwhelming chandeliers or marble everything, just clean lines and that kind of modern comfort that doesn’t try too hard to impress. I actually ended up extending my stay an extra two nights because, well, why mess with a good thing? The beds are firm enough that you don’t feel like you’re sinking into quicksand, but soft enough that you’re not counting ceiling tiles at 2 AM. Check-in was smooth as anything – no waiting around while they “prepare your room” or any of that usual dance. Sometimes the simplest things make the biggest difference, and Whitetone seems to understand that better than most places twice the price.

  Очень уютные, чистые и комфортные апартаменты! Есть все для полноценного проживания(утюг, гладильная доска, фен, сушилка для белья, посуда, пылесос, моющие средства…). Оснащенная кухня. Чистый санузел.
  Безопасность! Лифт не поднимается без ключ-карты.
  В доме магазин Bravo, в котором можно купить практически все для приготовления еды. А также много других магазинов в пешей доступности.
  Хороший район. До центра прогулочным шагом около 50 мин!(можно доехать на такси за 5-15 минут)
  Центр Гейдара Алиева практически через дорогу!
  Так же на соседних улицах есть приличные кафе и рестораны, чтобы перекусить.
  Дорога до аэропорта займет 25-30 мин днем.
  
  What could be improved: Можно было бы улучшить:
  Больше вешалок в шкафах( хотя бы еще 5 штук )
  Купить обычную сковородку))
  Но это больше нужно для тех, кто собирается проживать в квартире длительный срок.
  Минусов нет, все прекрасно!
