Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Baku, and honestly? This little spot on Adil Isgandarov completely caught me off guard. You know how sometimes you book something online and cross your fingers it’ll be decent – well, Tranquil Green Corner actually lives up to its name, which is saying something in a city that never really sleeps.

The thing is, you’re right in Sabayil, which means you can literally walk to the Old City in about ten minutes (I timed it), but somehow this apartment feels like it’s tucked away from all the chaos. The building itself is one of those newer constructions that doesn’t look like much from the street – I actually walked past it twice the first time because the entrance is sort of understated. But once you’re inside apartment 16, it’s like… well, it’s actually peaceful. The bedroom gets this gorgeous natural light in the morning, and whoever decorated this place has a real eye for making a small space feel bigger than it is. I mean, it’s not huge, but they’ve used every corner smartly without making it feel cramped.

What really sold me was the little details – there’s this corner (hence the name, I guess) where they’ve set up this reading nook that honestly became my favorite spot for morning coffee. The kitchen is compact but actually functional, not like those hotel kitchenettes where you can barely boil water. And the bathroom? Clean, modern, good water pressure – trust me, after a day walking around Baku’s cobblestone streets, that matters. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet, especially considering you’re so close to all the action around Fountains Square and the waterfront. I stayed there during Novruz season when the city gets absolutely packed, and I could still get a decent night’s sleep. The only minor thing is that the building’s elevator is a bit slow, but honestly, it’s just two flights up if you don’t want to wait.

Here’s what I really appreciated – the host clearly knows what travelers actually need. There’s proper Wi-Fi (I was working remotely part of the time), decent AC for those brutal summer months, and they even had local tea and some snacks waiting, which was such a nice touch after a long flight. Plus, you’re literally a five-minute walk from that little bakery on the corner that makes the best qutab in the neighborhood – the locals line up there every morning, which is always a good sign. If you’re planning to explore beyond the city center, the metro station isn’t far, and getting a taxi is never a problem from this area. I’d definitely stay here again, which for me is the real test of any place.

  Эта светлая и просторная квартира с гостиной – идеальное место для комфортного отдыха до 3 человек. Она находится в самом сердце города, прямо напротив живописного набережного бульвара, крупных торговых центров, роскошного отеля Four Seasons и Старого города с его очаровательными улочками.
  
  Квартира очень уютная, с балконом и красивым видом. На кухне есть все необходимые удобства для приготовления еды, а рядом – круглосуточный супермаркет, где можно купить все, что нужно. Для тех, кто путешествует на машине, есть бесплатная парковка. Добраться до автобуса – всего 3 минуты пешком, что делает передвижение по городу очень удобным.
  
  Мне особенно нравится, что прямо возле дома есть безопасная детская площадка – это отлично для семей с детьми. Здесь есть всё, чтобы почувствовать себя как дома, наслаждаясь комфортом и удобным расположением!
