The name might sound a bit corporate, but this apartment-style place on Afiyəddin Cəlilov street actually feels like staying at a really well-organized friend’s place, if your friend happened to have excellent taste and a thing for cleanliness.

The location is what really got me. You’re basically tucked into this quiet residential street that most tourists never find, which means you get to sleep without the usual Baku traffic symphony – but here’s the thing, you’re still only about a ten-minute walk from the buzzy parts of the city. I could literally grab fresh bread from the little bakery two blocks down every morning (the smell of their tandir bread is ridiculous), then wander over to the Old City whenever I felt like it. The apartment itself is spacious in a way that makes you forget you’re in the middle of a major city – I’m talking actual room to spread out your stuff, not the usual cramped hotel dance where you’re living out of a suitcase because there’s nowhere to put anything.

What struck me most was how the staff – well, the Baku Housing folks – actually seemed to care about the details. Check-in was smooth, but more than that, they gave me the kind of local tips you usually only get from friends. Like which marshrutka to take if I wanted to avoid the evening traffic crush, or where to find decent wine that won’t break the bank. The apartment had this lived-in quality that I really appreciated – proper kitchen equipment (not just a sad mini-fridge and a broken coffee maker), thick towels, and honestly, the kind of shower pressure that makes you want to stay in there way too long. The Wi-Fi actually worked consistently too, which, you know, if you’ve traveled in this part of the world, you’ll understand why that’s worth mentioning.

I stayed there during the shoulder season in October, and the building was perfectly quiet – you get these glimpses of local life through the windows, kids playing in the courtyard, neighbors chatting, but it never felt intrusive. The 9.4 rating makes total sense to me because it’s one of those places that just works without trying too hard. There’s parking if you need it, though honestly, walking around this part of Baku is half the fun. My only tiny complaint? The elevator is a bit slow, but that’s hardly a deal-breaker when everything else clicks into place so nicely. If you want to actually experience living in Baku rather than just passing through it, this is exactly the kind of place that makes that possible.

  What could be improved: В номере отсутствовало одеяло на 3 жильца, бакалы треснутые, а под вино бакалы и вовсе отсутствовали, тапочки для жильцов ( одноразовые), в гостиной сломан диван, в ванной отсутствовали зубная паста, щетки зубные, шампунь.При вызове такси , авто приезжает к соседнему зданию

  Внимательный, шустрый, вежливый сервис. Очень отличает доброжелательность.
  Сама квартира классная, огромная и комфортная.
  Расположение выше любых похвал: внизу комфортные рестораны и супермаркет, всё что нужно рядом, прекрасная доступность до исторического центра, до набережной, ТЦ
  В самой квартире было всё необходимое.
