Maestro Address Baku Hotel Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Maestro Address? I was expecting another generic business hotel when I pulled up to Mirzəağa Əliyev Street, but this place actually has some character. The location is pretty sweet – you’re in Nasimi district, which honestly feels more authentic than staying right in the touristy Old City area. I mean, you can still get to Icherisheher in about 15 minutes, but you’re surrounded by actual Baku life instead of souvenir shops.
The staff here really knows their stuff, and I don’t just mean the usual “welcome to our hotel” routine. When I mentioned wanting to check out some local art galleries, the front desk guy – I think his name was Rashid – started sketching out this little map with places I’d never heard of. That’s the kind of local insight you can’t Google, you know? The rooms are solid too, nothing revolutionary but they’ve clearly put thought into the details. The bathroom actually has decent water pressure (trust me, this matters in Baku), and the beds are firm enough that you won’t wake up feeling like you slept in a hammock. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night – the street can get a bit busy during the day with local traffic, but once evening hits, it’s surprisingly peaceful.
Here’s something I didn’t expect – the breakfast spread actually includes some proper Azerbaijani options alongside the standard hotel fare. I’m talking fresh lavash, local honey, and this amazing white cheese that I’m pretty sure they source from somewhere nearby. Most hotels in this price range just throw together some sad continental setup and call it a day. The Wi-Fi works everywhere (tested it thoroughly while catching up on work), and honestly, for a 4-star place, they punch above their weight. You’re also walking distance to some excellent local restaurants – there’s this tiny place two blocks down that does incredible dolma, though you’ll need to ask someone at the hotel to write down the name in Azerbaijani if you want to find it again. The only minor thing is that check-in can be a bit slow if you arrive during their busy period, but nothing that’ll ruin your day. If you want to experience Baku without feeling like you’re in a tourist bubble, but still have all the amenities you actually need, this spot delivers.

Exceptional – Memmedov from British Indian Ocean Territory – 9 July 2025 (10/10)

A wonderful stay at this hotel! Clean and cozy rooms, polite staff, and a great location. Comfort, warmth, and a welcomi – Afag from Azerbaijan – 8 July 2025 (10/10)
