The thing that hits you immediately is how quiet it gets once you’re away from the city chaos. I’m talking proper quiet – the kind where you can actually hear birds in the morning instead of traffic horns. The hotel sits in this sort of green pocket that feels completely different from central Baku’s urban intensity. What really won me over, though, was realizing this isn’t just some generic business hotel trying to capitalize on the golf theme. They’ve actually thought about what golfers (and honestly, anyone wanting to decompress) actually need. The rooms are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over your suitcase, and there’s this attention to comfort that you notice in small ways – good lighting for reading, decent water pressure, beds that don’t feel like cardboard. The staff genuinely seems to know the area well, which becomes invaluable when you want recommendations that go beyond the typical tourist script.

Here’s what I really appreciated: the location works both ways. Yes, you’re removed from the city center, but that 22-kilometer buffer means you get genuine peace and quiet while still being able to reach Baku’s main attractions when you want to. The drive isn’t bad at all – actually gives you a nice transition between the urban energy and this more relaxed setting. Parking is never an issue, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Baku’s city center will appreciate. The golf course itself is well-maintained (though I’ll admit I’m no expert), and even if you don’t play, the grounds make for pleasant evening walks. What surprised me most was how the restaurant actually serves decent local dishes alongside the international options – not just tourist-friendly versions, but food that locals would recognize and approve of. The 8.6 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here; it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in Azerbaijan, but it delivers on the things that actually matter for a comfortable stay.

  The room was a nice size, comfortable & clean with all amenities supplied. The hotel is located in a secure & well-maintained golf estate surrounded by lovely greens all around, 20 mins drive from the airport.
  The ambience & decor of the restaurant is warm, elegant & bright with lovely views across the estate from large windows. The breakfast was very good & more than enough for us. What really stood out was the helpfulness & professionalism of the staff, both at the restaurant & the reception area. who were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service with a smile.
  There's a handy convenience store/mini supermarket just across the street from the hotel, with a nice variety of provisions.
  
  What could be improved: There was an unpleasant drain smell at the lift lobby on the 1st floor.
  The shower water splashes outside the shower cubicle as the room is an accessibility/wheelchair friendly room (which didn't apply to us), so I guess that's just how it has to be.
  There's slightly too much furniture in the room which we felt would have been more spacious without the 2-seater couch & extra table.
