You know what surprised me most about this place? I actually felt like I was staying in someone’s well-appointed home rather than a typical hotel room. The Winter Park apartment sits on Mirzəağa Əliyev Street in Nasimi, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better if you want to experience Baku like a local. I mean, you’re close enough to the Flame Towers that you can see them perfectly from certain windows, but far enough away that you’re not drowning in tourist crowds every time you step outside.

The apartment itself has this really thoughtful setup – everything’s been chosen with actual comfort in mind, not just Instagram appeal. The kitchen is fully kitted out (I’m talking proper cookware, not those flimsy hotel kitchenettes), which came in handy when I wanted to grab fresh produce from the nearby markets and cook dinner instead of eating out every night. The bed is legitimately comfortable – I sleep terribly in most hotels, but here I was out cold by 11 PM. What really got me though were the small touches: decent water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, and – this might sound weird – but the Wi-Fi reaches every corner of the apartment without cutting out. You’d be amazed how often that’s not the case.

The Bakuapart team clearly knows what they’re doing. Check-in was smooth, no awkward waiting around in a lobby, and they were genuinely helpful with neighborhood recommendations that went beyond the standard tourist stops. They pointed me toward this incredible bakery about a five-minute walk away where locals queue up for fresh bread every morning – the kind of insider tip that makes a trip memorable. The area gets busy during weekday rush hours since you’re in a proper residential neighborhood, but evenings are pretty quiet. I could hear some street noise during the day with windows open, but nothing that disrupted sleep. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re renting a car – it’s city parking, so you’ll need to figure out the local system – but honestly, you’re so well-connected here that you might not need a car at all. The metro isn’t far, and there are plenty of taxis around. What really sold me on recommending this place is that 9.2 rating feels completely earned – it’s not inflated by people just being polite. This is the kind of spot where you can actually settle in for a few days, maybe work from the dining table if you need to, and feel like you’re living in Baku rather than just visiting it.

  This is a spacious and nicely furnished apartment in the center of Baku. The staff were very helpful and available on WhatsApp for any queries. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a large living room. We went with friends, and we had plenty of space to be together but also enough privacy, which was nice.
  
  The person whose phone number is listed on the property profile arranged the main details before the trip, but the actual checking in was done by another person, Karim, who was available to deal with queries too.
  
  What could be improved: The address on the property profile brought us to a different part of Baku, so it took us some time to actually find the property. Make sure you check the address with the staff.

  What could be improved: The staff asked to pay him in cash and whatsapped me from a different number. After leaving, he said that I did not show to the proparty and canceled the booking trying to charge me twice.

  We had to book this WinterPark Apartment at the last moment. We booked this apartment at about 9 PM, rang up the host and he was very kind to send his manager to open the Apartment for us…..we were nicely settled in by about 9:30 PM.
  
  THIS APARTMENT IS HUGE! And it is modern in furnishings etc. It has two large bedrooms and a huge drawing room. It has two bathrooms – one fitted with a Jacuzzi (though we did not use the jacuzzi). The kitchen is very well equipped. The complete Apartment has excellent air conditioning.
  
  It is located about 10 minute walking away from the bustling Nizami Street area. There is a superstore about 200m away.
  
  The owner and manager are WONDERFUL people. We requested for a small repair to one of the ACs, and a mechanic was promptly sent to address the problem.
  
  All in all, an excellent experience.
  
  What could be improved: Everything was just great in Winterpark Apartment.
