I mean, the address on Bukhta Street doesn’t exactly scream luxury when you’re looking it up, but honestly – this little gem sits right where the old Soviet-era buildings meet Baku’s shiny new waterfront development, and somehow it just works.

The location is actually perfect if you know Baku at all. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Caspian Sea promenade where locals go for their evening strolls, and I’d catch the sound of families chatting in Azeri drifting up from the boulevard most nights around sunset. The Flame Towers – those iconic skyscrapers that light up the city – are right there dominating the skyline, but you’re tucked away enough that you don’t get the tourist crowds stumbling around at all hours. What I really loved was being able to grab fresh bread from the little bakery on the corner each morning (the smell hits you as soon as you step outside), then walk down to watch the ferries heading across to the other side of the bay. The apartment itself has this lived-in comfort that you don’t get in chain hotels – proper thick curtains that actually block out light, a kitchen where everything works, and honestly some of the best water pressure I’ve had in the Caucasus region.

Parking was easier than I expected too, which… well, anyone who’s driven in Baku knows that’s saying something. The building’s got this slightly faded grandeur thing going on – marble in the lobby that’s seen better days but still feels substantial, you know? Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, no corporate nonsense, just keys and directions from someone who clearly knew the neighborhood inside out. I’ll be honest, the elevator makes some interesting sounds, but it gets you there, and there’s something charming about places that have a bit of character instead of sterile perfection. The only thing that might bug light sleepers is the occasional late-night chatter from people walking home along the boulevard, but I actually found it kind of comforting – like being part of a real neighborhood instead of some tourist bubble. If you’re the type who wants to experience Baku the way people actually live here, rather than from some glass tower hotel, this place gets it right.

  I had a wonderful stay at this flat! The space was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was convenient, with easy access to local shops, restaurants, and public transportation. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. We did our own cooking . Fridge , washing machine , AC , water all are perfect
  
  Mr.Orkhan was very friendly and make us to feel like a home . He helped us for each and everything from cab , money exchange and suggest us good places to visit and he saved us a lot of money . Total we had a perfect stay . The shops and locals near us become so friendly and will miss their hospitality.
