Well, this one actually exceeded expectations, which doesn’t happen often with five-star spots that usually promise the world and deliver fancy lobbies with mediocre everything else.

The thing about this location in Sabayil is that you’re right in the thick of things without dealing with the chaos of, say, staying closer to the Old City walls where tour buses idle at all hours. Füzuli Street itself is pretty quiet – I could actually sleep with the windows cracked open, which is rare for central Baku. But here’s what I really appreciated: you can walk to the Caspian waterfront in maybe eight minutes, and there’s this little tea house two blocks down that locals frequent (the kind of place where they’ll argue about chess games until midnight). The staff at AyrumBeds seemed to know about spots like this too, which tells you they’re not just going through corporate hospitality motions.

What really sets this place apart, though, is how they handle the details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling or lengthy explanations of amenities I didn’t ask about. The rooms have this solid, understated quality where everything just works: proper water pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, and – this might sound small but it’s huge – electrical outlets positioned where you’d naturally want to plug things in. I mean, how many hotels get that wrong? The housekeeping staff has this quiet efficiency too; they’d somehow refresh the room without disrupting my work setup on the desk, which showed they were paying attention to how guests actually use the space. Honestly, by day three I felt like I was staying somewhere that understood the difference between impressive and genuinely comfortable. The whole experience felt more like having a well-connected friend in Baku who happens to have impeccable taste in accommodations rather than checking into another generic luxury hotel that could be anywhere in the world.

  AyrumBeds Travel and its team were amazing. It was our have came first time to Baku. AyrumBeds Travel employee met us at Heydar Aliyev Airport and placed us in the most magnificent hotel in the center of Baku. Travel offers its customers a free airport pick-up and drop-off. In addition, AyrumBeds Travel employee picked us up from the hotel in the evening and invited us to have coffee at the most beautiful coffee shop in the center of the city, and the payment was made by travel. Travel employee told us that if they stay in Baku for 2-3 days, they organize a free sightseeing tour around Baku for their guests. We came for business so we could not stay more than 1 day. This is the first time I have seen such a Travel treat its customers so kindly and take care of them. I recommend everyone to travel to Azerbaijan with this AyrumBeds Travel and have a more fun time.
