You know what caught me off guard about Avrasya Inn? Walking into the lobby, I actually felt like I was in someone’s well-appointed home rather than a typical chain hotel. It’s tucked away in the Badamdar area – and honestly, if you’re not familiar with Baku, this neighborhood is where locals go to escape the hustle of the old city without feeling completely cut off from everything.

The location is sort of perfect if you ask me. You’re maybe fifteen minutes from Flame Towers (those iconic skyscrapers everyone photographs), but you wake up to actual quiet mornings instead of traffic noise. I mean, Badamdar has this residential feel that most hotel districts lack – there’s a little market down the street where you can grab fresh bread, and the locals at the front desk actually know which marshrutka routes will get you downtown fastest. The rooms themselves have this comfortable, lived-in quality – not flashy, but everything works properly, which honestly matters more than marble countertops when you’re dealing with Baku’s sometimes unpredictable plumbing. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner of the room, which… well, you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case around here.

What really sold me on this place was how the staff handles things. Check-in was smooth, but more importantly, they seem to understand that travelers need real information, not just brochure speak. When I asked about getting to Heydar Aliyev Center, the desk clerk drew me a little map showing which metro stop to use and mentioned that Thursdays get crowded – that kind of local insight you can’t google. The breakfast spread isn’t huge, but they do this amazing fresh cheese and honey combination that I still think about, plus proper Turkish coffee if you know to ask for it. The dining room gets great morning light too, which makes checking emails or planning your day actually pleasant instead of feeling like work. Sure, it’s a solid 4-star place rather than luxury, but that 8.1 rating makes sense when you factor in the genuine hospitality and the fact that you’re getting authentic Baku neighborhood life instead of tourist bubble isolation. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re staying somewhere real rather than just convenient, Avrasya Inn gets that balance right.

  The Hotel was good with good interiors and ambience and good dinning area.
  
  What could be improved: The Hotel forced me to pay 250Azn for washroom sink that was broken. It was not completely our mistake as we were using it normally but may be it was not fixed propoerly and it was not having any support from the down. But forcing your guest to pay amount in my view is not good. Though i appreciate the guy effort to in speaking kind language but he was also one way threatening me that we don't want to go to police for this issue.

  The hotel is quite clean and quiet. The food is delicious and nicely presented. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. The overall atmosphere is relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind

  The area was very quiet, and there was good airflow in the room. Breakfast was delicious, simple, fulfilling, and diversified.
  
  What could be improved: Ironing and laundry services were separate and not included in the bill. You'll have to pay for them for each piece.

  The staff was very helpful and English speaking. We were used to talking about Azerbaijan a lot and they helped me with some points. Whole atmosphere was friendly and guest orientated. Bus stop was nearby and Bolt to the city cost small amount of money.
