The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re clean and well-maintained in a way that shows someone actually cares about this place. The air conditioning works properly (crucial during Baku summers, believe me), and the Wi-Fi is solid throughout the building – I was working from the small lobby area one morning and had no issues at all.

What really struck me was how the staff seemed to know the neighborhood inside and out. When I asked about getting to the Flame Towers for sunset photos, they didn’t just give me generic directions – they told me exactly which metro exit to use and warned me that the funicular gets crowded around 6 PM. The breakfast spread isn’t elaborate, but it hits the right notes with local bread, cheese, and jam, plus decent coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around all morning. I actually ended up chatting with a couple from Germany who’d been staying there for four days, and they mentioned how quiet it gets at night despite being so central – apparently the building’s set back just enough from the main street traffic. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevator’s a bit slow, but honestly, it’s just two flights if you want to walk up, and the stairwell’s clean and well-lit. For the price point and that 9.5 rating (which seemed almost too good to be true initially), this place delivers on what matters most: you get a comfortable, honest stay in a spot where you can actually experience Baku like a temporary local rather than just another tourist passing through.

  I had an amazing stay at City Apart Inn! The location is fantastic—close to all major attractions and easily accessible. The apartment was spotless, modern, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile.
