Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw Youth Corner was on the 10th floor of a building on Möhsün Sənani, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you. The elevator ride up gives you this anticipation, and then the doors open to reveal what’s actually a really thoughtfully designed space that makes the most of its unique position.

The thing about being up on the 10th floor is the views – I mean, you’re literally looking out over Baku in a way most hotels can’t offer. The windows are these huge panels that let in incredible light during the day, and honestly, watching the city come alive in the morning with your coffee is pretty special. The rooms themselves feel more like a friend’s well-designed apartment than a typical hotel room, which I think is what they’re going for with the whole “Youth Corner” concept. There’s this energy to the place that’s hard to describe – maybe it’s the mix of travelers you meet, or the way the staff actually seems to care about making sure you’re sorted, but it has personality.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to create this community feel despite being tucked away up there. The common areas become these natural gathering spots where you end up chatting with people, and the location on Möhsün Sənani means you’re close enough to the action without being right in the thick of tourist chaos. I found myself walking to different parts of the city pretty easily from there, and coming back to that quiet 10th floor felt like a nice reset each evening. The check-in was smooth – no waiting around or complicated processes – and the place stays surprisingly quiet at night considering it attracts a younger crowd. I guess being elevated helps with street noise too. It’s one of those places where the 4-star rating feels right – not trying to be overly fancy, but everything works well and feels intentional. If you’re looking for something with character that doesn’t feel like every other hotel room you’ve stayed in, this place delivers on that front.

  It was the perfect modern apartment for our vocation. My family was amazed by this place, modern , sparkling comfort beds as well . We were sad to leave the place there was an elevator too. The owner is fantastic always helps & responds. Sure we will com back a gain
