The beds are legitimately comfortable, and the bathrooms have good water pressure, which honestly can be hit or miss in some Baku accommodations. One thing I particularly loved was the attention to small details – proper blackout curtains (crucial if you’re dealing with jet lag), decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and enough electrical outlets in sensible places.

Being right on Nizami Street means you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Fountain Square, and the Metro station is close enough that getting around the city is actually convenient rather than the usual urban adventure. I found myself grabbing morning coffee from this little local spot just around the corner – you’ll know it when you see the queue of locals, always a good sign. The area gets lively in the evenings but not obnoxiously loud, though if you’re a really light sleeper, maybe ask for a room facing away from the street. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but the staff seemed to have some insider knowledge about nearby options. What struck me most was how the place manages to feel both central and residential – you’re in the mix of everything, but it doesn’t feel like you’re sleeping in the middle of a tourist attraction. For the price point and the level of comfort, it’s honestly one of those finds that makes you feel a bit smug about your travel planning skills.
