It sits right in Sabayil district, and honestly, if you know Baku at all, you’ll appreciate being this close to the Old City without dealing with the tourist chaos every time you step outside.

The location is pretty brilliant, actually. You’re walking distance from Icherisheher (the walled Old City), but you’re also close enough to the modern Flame Towers that you get this interesting mix of old and new Baku right outside your window. I mean, the Caspian Sea breeze hits differently here – you can actually feel it in the evenings when you’re wandering around the neighborhood. The streets around Mərdanov Qardashları can get a bit busy during rush hour, but that’s just Baku being Baku. What I loved was how easy it was to grab a taxi or even walk to places like the Boulevard – you know, that long waterfront promenade where half of Baku goes to unwind.

The 4-star rating feels about right, though I’d say they punch above their weight in some areas. The rooms have this modern elegance without trying too hard, and the bathrooms – well, let’s just say the water pressure is something you don’t take for granted until you’ve stayed in enough places around the region. The staff genuinely seemed to know the city, not just the touristy bits. When I asked about finding good plov that wasn’t in a hotel restaurant, they pointed me toward spots I never would’ve found otherwise. Check-in was smooth, none of that endless paperwork drama you sometimes get. The 8.1 rating makes sense – it’s not perfect (the WiFi can be spotty in some rooms, and street noise is a thing if you’re a super light sleeper), but the good stuff really outweighs the minor annoyances. There’s something about staying here that makes you feel like you’re experiencing Baku as more than just a stopover, you know? It’s got character without being quirky for the sake of it, and honestly, in a city that’s changing as fast as Baku, that balance is harder to find than you’d think.

  The location of the hotel is super. The staff were vey helpful and respectful. And the house keeping services were excellent. The garden view of the room was excellent enjoying the fresh air while being in the room.
  
  What could be improved: The breakfast menu could be of more varieties with life cooking section.
  The guest reception formalities could be modified instead of signing papers, digital forms is much preferred to be more green and use less papers.

  It is at the right spot and start of Nizam’s street. Very close to restaurants and cafes. Actually right on the nizami street. Breakfast is more than what you would expect. Staying away from nizami street will never be a good decision.

  The overall experience is very good. The staff is very cooperative and available at all times. The room (junior Suite) was very good, and the housekeeping was up to the standard. The only negative is that the window was opening to a closed area, so the outside view was not available to enjoy.
