The elevator works fine (always a concern in older buildings here), and when you step inside, it genuinely feels like someone’s well-loved apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. The owner clearly put thought into the details – there’s this nice mix of modern touches without losing that homey feel. You know what I really appreciated? They actually have decent water pressure, which… well, if you’ve stayed in some of the budget places around the city, you’ll understand why that matters.

Location-wise, you’re maybe a 15-minute walk from Fountain Square if you cut through the right streets, and there’s a little bakery downstairs that opens ridiculously early – perfect if you’re one of those people who needs fresh bread with your morning tea. The Nasimi area has this great mix of local life without feeling touristy, so you’ll actually see how people live here rather than just hitting the usual spots. Parking can be a bit tricky (it’s Baku, what do you expect?), but the host knows the area well and can point you toward the better options. I stayed there during both summer and a quick winter trip, and honestly, the heating works great when you need it, and the windows actually open wide enough to get a proper cross-breeze during those sweltering July days. With a 9.5 rating, I was skeptical at first – sometimes those numbers seem inflated – but after staying there twice now, I get it. It’s not fancy in that international hotel chain way, but it’s genuinely comfortable and the kind of place where you feel settled rather than just passing through.

  Квартира чистая, просторная, в хорошем здании, рядом круглосуточный маркет, до центра добраться не сложно, хозяин очень приветливый и помог в любой просьбе. Так же с ним можно договорится о трансфере в аэропорт, это было очень комфортно
