Honestly, when I first walked into the Saphire apartment, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, apartment hotels can be hit or miss, you know? But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked right on Hasan Abdullayev street in Sabayil, which puts you smack in the middle of everything without the crazy traffic noise you get closer to Fountain Square. The building itself has this clean, modern vibe that feels more like a high-end residential complex than a typical hotel, and the lobby – well, it’s small but they’ve done something smart with the lighting that makes it feel way more spacious than it actually is.

What really got me was how they’ve thought about the details that actually matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two. The apartments themselves are genuinely spacious, not that fake “spacious” you see in photos with fisheye lenses. I’m talking about real room to spread out your stuff, a proper kitchen where you can actually cook (not just heat up instant noodles), and – this might sound weird – but the water pressure is fantastic. You know how some places in Baku can be iffy with that? Not here. The whole setup feels like someone’s really nice apartment that they’re letting you borrow, if that makes sense. Plus, being in Sabayil means you’re walking distance to the Old City when you want that tourist experience, but you can also just pop over to Park Bulvar or grab dinner at one of those little places along the Caspian that locals actually go to.

I’ll be straight with you though – the staff mostly speaks Azerbaijani and Russian, so brush up on your basics or download a translation app if you’re not comfortable with either. But honestly, they go out of their way to help even with the language barrier, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard to cater to every possible tourist whim. The area gets pretty quiet at night, which I loved, but if you’re someone who needs to be right in the thick of nightlife, you might find it a bit too residential. For me though, after walking around Baku all day – especially in summer when it gets stupidly hot – coming back to a place that feels like a proper home base rather than just a room with a bed was exactly what I needed. The perfect rating might seem too good to be true, but sometimes you just stumble onto one of those places that gets everything right without making a big deal about it.

  Хорошие апарты в центре Баку. В квартире чисто, есть все необходимое. Для меня всегда критерий при выборе-чистота, наличие кухни/посуды, отсутствие посторонних запахов. Квартира соответствует моим критериям . Расположение тоже отличное, до набережной прогуляться минут 15-20.
  Если вернусь в Баку , то точно арендую эту квартиру
