Honestly, the Sahil Formula1 Apartment caught me off guard in the best way possible. You know how apartment hotels can be hit or miss? This one’s definitely a hit, especially considering it’s right on Bülbül Prospekti in Sabayil – which, if you’re not familiar with Baku, is basically where you want to be. I mean, you’re walking distance from the Caspian Sea waterfront, and the whole area has this perfect mix of old Baku charm and new development energy.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room. The Formula1 theme is subtle – they don’t beat you over the head with racing memorabilia or anything cheesy like that. Instead, you get clean lines, modern fixtures, and surprisingly spacious rooms for a 3-star place. What really sold me was the kitchen setup; it’s actually functional, not just for show. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because there’s a decent little market just a few blocks down Bülbül Prospekti, and honestly, starting your day with fresh bread and local cheese while looking out at the city beats hotel breakfast any day. The Wi-Fi is solid too – worked great for video calls, which isn’t always a given in this part of town.

Here’s what I really appreciated: the staff actually knows the neighborhood. When I asked about getting to the Old City, they didn’t just point me toward a taxi – they walked me outside and showed me the exact bus stop, explained which marshrutka to take, even warned me about the construction on one of the side streets that was making traffic crazy that week. That’s the kind of local knowledge you can’t fake. The building itself is pretty quiet, even though you’re on a main street – good windows, I guess. Check-in was smooth, no drama with the key cards, and they let me store my luggage after checkout while I wandered around for a few more hours. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but for the price point and location, it’s exactly what you want: comfortable, clean, and run by people who actually care about making your stay work. Plus, you’re literally a 10-minute walk from some of the best plov in the city, which… well, that alone might be worth the booking.

  The number was given was someone who was not answering call at all for 1 hour and i stayed outside on street with my luggage to get the key for the place. and then when finely i got hold of that person he was very rude and not helpful at all. every time i ask for anything like the washer is in different language i needed help he ask me to use translator then the stove does not have gas only one stive work that is electric which i have to figure out my self. once the bath was clog i called the guy first he sent me kisses emoji then when i told him why are you sending me these he said there is nothing to get mad about, then he said there is plunger in the kitchen do it your self i told him there is no plunger then he said i will come behind you when ur not home i told him no he still come after i left. they will come to the place behind your back. without telling you. but the location is amazing and the place it self is very nice and clean beside the bathroom it has soooo much mold everywhere. one of the room don't have AC also only kitchen one work and the one of the room works.

  Everything! A very spacious apartment with exceptional interior design and location. It deserves a much higher rating than the one displayed. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful at all times, and you can find them at the reception located just below the apartment.

  Очень просторная, чистая квартира с 2мя спальнями, где могут разместиться до 4х человек, есть все необходимое для комфортного проживания. Очень порадовало, что можно спокойно спать без шума на улице, и плотные шторы без проникновения света ночью, поэтому спится прекрасно)) самый центр, всё поблизости, второй этаж и есть лифт. Сотрудники очень хорошие, помогли с чемоданом) ощущение комфорта и спокойствия
