Sabah Residance sea view 3 bedroom Overview
Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked the Sabah Residance – the name had me thinking it might be one of those cookie-cutter apartment hotels. But walking up to 21 Əlibəyov Qardaşları in Sabayil, I realized I’d stumbled onto something pretty special. The building sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to hear the Caspian lapping against the shore, but far enough from the main Seaside Boulevard chaos that you can actually sleep with the windows open.
The three-bedroom setup is what really won me over though. I mean, most hotel rooms in Baku either cost a fortune or feel like glorified closets, but this place – it’s got space that actually makes sense. The living area opens right onto this balcony where you can see the water between the buildings, and honestly, watching the sunrise over the Caspian with your morning coffee beats any fancy lobby breakfast buffet. The bedrooms are laid out smart too, with the master facing the sea view (obviously) and the other two tucked away so you’re not all on top of each other. What I really appreciated was the kitchen – fully equipped, not just some mini-fridge situation. After eating out for days in the Old City, being able to grab fresh bread from the little bakery down the street and make a proper breakfast was honestly a relief.
You know what surprised me most? The quiet. Sabayil can get pretty hectic during the day with all the oil business and government buildings nearby, but this particular stretch of Əlibəyov Qardaşları feels almost residential. The locals walking their dogs in the evening, kids playing in the small courtyard areas – it gives you this glimpse of actual Baku life that you miss when you’re staying in the touristy Icherisheher area. Plus, you’re literally a ten-minute walk to Fountain Square if you want the action, but you can retreat back to this little bubble when the city gets overwhelming. The only minor thing – and this is pretty typical for Baku – is that the elevator can be a bit temperamental, but hey, three flights of stairs never killed anyone, and the sea breeze on the walk up is worth it. If you’re traveling with family or a group and want to feel like you’re living in the city rather than just passing through, this place gets it right.

I visited Baku 4 times, the most beautiful of which was because of the Sabah residence – Amin from Saudi Arabia – 14 November 2023 (10/10)
Elias was an honest and helpful person, had a nice apartment and a nice location and I would recommend him
What could be improved: The view is beautiful, the place is clean and new, and Elias is helpful with me
