They pointed me toward this incredible plov place about three blocks away that I never would’ve found otherwise.

Here’s the thing about staying in Sabayil – you’re positioned perfectly for exploring both old and new Baku without feeling like you’re staying in a museum or a sterile business district. From the Premier Old Gates, you can walk to Icherisheher (the Old City) before the tour groups arrive, then easily catch a taxi to the Flame Towers or the waterfront when you want that modern Baku experience. The neighborhood itself comes alive around sunset when families start their evening strolls, and there’s something really genuine about watching daily life unfold from your hotel window. Sure, the building shows its age in small ways – the elevator’s a bit temperamental, and some of the bathroom fixtures could use updating – but that 8.1 rating feels about right. It’s not luxury, but it’s solid, well-located, and run by people who actually care about giving you a real taste of the city rather than just a place to sleep between tourist sites.

  This hotel is well located for the old city, we were given a bigger room than we booked. It was comfortable to stay, WiFi in our room was good.
  
  What could be improved: Breakfast was not so good and depended on when we arrived, some things ran out and we're not replaced in the buffet. But we did manage to put together an ok breakfast and when we left early on the lady day we were given a packed breafast

  I loved the location and staff especially Arizoo, she was wonderful to us, she helped us, guided us through things and was very kind to help us. Overall the rooms and the bathrooms were amazing and the experience was THE best because of Arizoo. 🙂

  What could be improved: if you stay family suit, you should pass middle of the restaurant to reach your room. it’s not a problem but when chef starts cooking all suit smells onions or what they cook.

  and big disappointment for me i asked help to reach hotel to airport they called uber to me fir ride and it’s take 14 azn but hotel got 30 azn from me!! if they have shuttle and want 30 azn I should respect their policy but they called UBER and took 30azn from me before ride! when i reached airport and saw just 12azn + 3azn car entrance!
