The staff at check-in seemed genuinely happy to see guests, which… well, that’s not always a given in this part of the world. They helped me figure out the best routes into Baku’s Old City, and actually knew their stuff about local transport options. The rooms themselves have this sort of modern-meets-traditional vibe going on – nothing too fancy, but the beds are legitimately comfortable and there’s decent space to spread out. What really got me was stepping out onto the balcony in the morning. The name “Panorama” isn’t just marketing fluff – you actually do get these sweeping views across the landscape that change completely depending on the light. Early morning, you’ll catch the sun hitting the distant Caspian, and honestly, it’s worth setting an alarm for.

The restaurant downstairs serves solid Azerbaijani food alongside international options, though I’d recommend trying their local dishes – the staff takes obvious pride in them. Parking was never an issue (huge plus if you’re renting a car), and the neighborhood stays pretty quiet even during peak season. You know what really sealed it for me though? I had some issues with my flight getting delayed, needed to extend my stay last-minute, and they sorted it out without the usual bureaucratic dance. That 8.7 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in Baku, but it delivers on the things that actually matter when you’re traveling. If you’re looking for that perfect Instagram lobby, maybe look elsewhere. But if you want a place that feels more like a well-run local spot than a corporate chain, where you can actually relax and the staff remembers your name after day two, this is your spot.

  What could be improved: Despite the well balanced breakfast, I ate the same breakfast for the entire period of my stay. This was predictable and monotonous .

  I expected to find cooking pots and utensils in the kitchen to allow me the option of cooking and preparing anything .

  Panorama Villa is situated face to Sea . Its outside atmosphere is very good . Children's park is available. We also become as a child and played in park. And climate was awesome to spend there .
