It’s tucked away on Rasul Rza street in this perfectly quiet residential pocket of Nasimi, but you’re actually walking distance from everything that matters in Baku. I mean, when I first saw the address, I thought I’d be stuck in some boring neighborhood – turns out the locals know this area pretty well, and honestly, it felt more authentic than staying right in the tourist zone.

The apartment itself has that solid, no-nonsense vibe that I really appreciate when I’m traveling. It’s not trying to be flashy or Instagram-perfect, but everything just works. The kitchen actually has proper cooking equipment (not those sad hotel kitchenettes with one bent spoon), and the living space feels like someone’s real home rather than a sterile hotel room. The windows are well-insulated too – important because Baku can get pretty windy, and you don’t want to hear every car that passes by. I slept incredibly well there, which honestly doesn’t happen often when I travel. The building itself is quiet, mostly locals living their normal lives, so no hallway parties or slamming doors at 2 AM.

What really sealed it for me was how the whole experience felt… effortless, I guess? Check-in was straightforward, parking wasn’t a nightmare (which, if you’ve driven in Baku, you know is saying something), and when I needed recommendations, the host knew the neighborhood inside and out. They pointed me toward this little bakery about three blocks away that I never would’ve found otherwise – best qutab I had during my entire trip. The location works perfectly for exploring the city without feeling like you’re staying in a hotel bubble. You can walk to the Caspian waterfront when you want that tourist experience, but then come back to this calm residential street where old men play backgammon in the courtyard and kids ride bikes after school. It’s that sweet spot between convenience and actually experiencing how people live in Baku, you know?

  Особую благодарность хочется выразить хозяину Рашаду – человек очень добрый, отзывчивый и пунктуальный. Он всегда был на связи, помог с заселением и дал полезные советы по городу. Видно, что он действительно заботится о своих гостях.
