The apartment itself is sort of perfectly positioned within the Sea Breeze Resort 2 complex – you’re high enough to get those sweeping sea views (and I mean proper views, not just a sliver of blue if you crane your neck), but not so high that the elevator ride becomes a whole thing. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even during peak season when Baku gets pretty bustling. The sound insulation is impressive – you can hear the gentle wash of the Caspian when you want to, but none of the street noise from the main resort areas.

The space feels genuinely luxurious without being intimidating, if that makes sense. Everything’s been thought through – the kitchen actually has proper appliances you’d want to use, the bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that doesn’t feel gimmicky, and honestly, the bed situation is just perfect. I mean, I’m pretty picky about mattresses, and this one hit that sweet spot between firm and comfortable. The sea-facing windows are massive, which means you’re basically watching the sunrise over the Caspian from bed – something I never got tired of during my stay. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven around central Baku will tell you is not a given.

What sets this apart from other luxury options in the area is the balance they’ve struck. You’re within the Sea Breeze complex, so you’ve got access to all those resort amenities when you want them, but the apartment feels private and residential rather than hotel-generic. It’s close enough to the Flame Towers area that you can easily get to the main tourist spots, but far enough from the crowds that you’re not dealing with constant tour groups. The staff at check-in were refreshingly normal – helpful without being overly formal or scripted. They actually gave useful local recommendations rather than just pointing to the hotel restaurant.

I’ll be honest, the price point isn’t exactly budget-friendly, but when you factor in the space, the location, and that view – well, it starts to make sense. This is the kind of place where you end up spending more time in the apartment than you planned, just because it’s so comfortable. Whether you’re here for business or just exploring Baku, it feels like a proper home base rather than just somewhere to sleep.
