Lux Flat in Xatai District Overview
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to this place on Suleyman Vazirov – I mean, it’s tucked away in what looks like just another residential building in Xatai. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are hiding in plain sight. The moment you step inside, it’s like entering a completely different world from the modest exterior.
The flat itself is genuinely luxurious – and I don’t throw that word around lightly after staying in countless “luxury” places that turned out to be all marketing fluff. The space feels thoughtfully designed, with these beautiful high ceilings that make everything feel airy and open. What really got me was the attention to detail in the finishes – marble countertops that actually feel substantial, not those thin veneer ones you see everywhere, and fixtures that have some real weight to them. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which matters if you’re planning to grab some fresh pomegranates and local cheese from the nearby markets (there’s a great little place about two blocks down that the locals hit up in the mornings).
Location-wise, Xatai District is one of those neighborhoods that’s perfectly positioned without being touristy – you’re close enough to get into central Baku quickly, but you’re living where actual Bakuvians live. I loved walking around in the evenings when families are out with their kids and the older guys are playing backgammon in the courtyard areas. The building itself is surprisingly quiet considering you’re in the city – thick walls, I guess, because I barely heard any street noise even with the windows open. Parking was actually straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven in Baku will tell you is not something to take for granted. The host was incredibly responsive during check-in, met me right on time and walked me through everything without being pushy about it.
What really sets this place apart though is that it feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile rental property. There are books on the shelves, art on the walls that someone clearly chose because they liked it, not because it matched a corporate color scheme. The bathroom has this amazing rainfall shower that I may have stayed in a bit too long each morning – the water pressure is fantastic, which honestly can be hit or miss in this part of the world. I mean, it’s those little things that make you feel like you’re living somewhere rather than just passing through. The whole experience just felt more authentic than staying in one of those big international hotels where every room looks identical whether you’re in Baku or Bangkok.

Reviews of Lux Flat in Xatai District
Kind householders, perfect location, comfortable home and a unique trip experience. – Berk from Turkey – 26 November 2024 (10/10)
It was perfect to stay at this home. Householders are very helpful, location of the house is perfect and you can simply reach everywhere in Baku through metro station near by house. House was very clean and comfortable, also it is cheap according to it's performance. If you are considering visit to Baku, I strongly reccomend you to stay here.
