Liman Apartment Nz Overview

You know what struck me first about Liman Apartment Nz? The fact that it sits right on İstiqlaliyyət Street – and I mean, if you’re going to stay anywhere in Baku’s Old City area, this is honestly one of those addresses that just makes sense. You’re literally in the heart of Sabayil district, which means you can walk to the Maiden Tower in about ten minutes, but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos right at your doorstep.

The building itself has this sort of understated elegance that I really appreciated – it’s not trying too hard to be flashy, but there’s clearly been thought put into the details. When I checked in, the whole process was refreshingly smooth (none of that awkward waiting around while they figure out your reservation), and the staff actually knew the neighborhood well enough to give decent restaurant recommendations. The apartments themselves are properly spacious – I mean, you can actually unpack your suitcase without playing Tetris with your luggage. The kitchenette setup is practical if you want to grab some fresh pomegranates from the local market and not eat out every single meal, though honestly, with all the incredible food within walking distance, you might not use it much.

Here’s what I found particularly smart about this place: the soundproofing is actually decent. İstiqlaliyyət can get a bit lively in the evenings – it’s not a sleepy side street – but once you’re inside, it’s surprisingly quiet. The 8.1 rating makes total sense when you consider that this isn’t some cookie-cutter hotel experience; it feels more like staying in a well-appointed local apartment, but with the reliability of professional management. The area comes alive around sunset when locals start their evening walks, and there’s something really authentic about watching Baku’s daily rhythm from your window. You’re close enough to the Caspian waterfront that you can easily stroll down there for morning coffee, and the Flame Towers light up the skyline just beautifully from this vantage point. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it.

Reviews of Liman Apartment Nz

  • Exceptional – John from Austria – 18 June 2025 (10/10)

The bed linens felt like something out of a luxury catalog. I actually checked the tag to see the brand. I travel a lot for work, but this was the first hotel that had outlets exactly where I needed them small win, big impact.

  • Exceptional – Mark from Austria – 18 June 2025 (10/10)

Woke up to birdsong even though we were in the city the location is both central and surprisingly peaceful

  • Exceptional – Antony from Russia – 24 February 2025 (10/10)

The hotel is very cozy and unique, with a personal touch that makes it feel special. You can really feel the care and attention to detail that the owners put into making it a welcoming place. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any request. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-soundproofed, ensuring a peaceful stay. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options and fresh food. The hotel is also in a great location, close to everything you need, but still quiet enough to enjoy the peace. It’s a wonderful place to relax, and I can confidently recommend it.

  • Exceptional – Vera from Russia – 28 October 2024 (10/10)

I have stayed at a dozen hotels in Baku. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The friendly and helpful staff were there for every need of mine. Thank you so much.

  • Exceptional – Vera from Russia – 11 October 2024 (10/10)

The hotel was in a prime location, close to all the major attractions. Breakfast was a feast, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. I can't wait to stay here again👌🏽

  • Well-located hotel with friendly staff, simple breakfast could be improved – Ze from China – 8 October 2024 (7/10)

1.Great location—just a one-minute walk to Baku Old City and the metro station. Taxis are also very convenient.
2.The front desk staff were extremely friendly, patient, and always willing to help.
3.Very high ceilings, which add to the spacious feel.
    4.They clean the room everyday.

What could be improved: 1.The spring mattress was uncomfortable, with a raised middle that made it hard to sleep on.
2.The breakfast was too limited in variety.

  • Very nice location. – Sadaf from Italy – 23 August 2024 (8/10)

Great location. Old style, high ceiling rooms. They allowed us to check out in the night for a discounted price which was extrmely helpful in our case. Hotel taxi service is reasonable. Airport taxis will rip you off otherwise.

What could be improved: Stairs, but the reception guys helped us take out luggage.

  • Comfortable but flawed – Midhet from India – 23 May 2024 (7/10)

    – The location and view is very good. It is only a 3-5 minute walk from Nizami street and Old city
    – The house is very spacious with extremely high ceilings
    – The host is friendly and always available to resolve any queries etc

What could be improved: – There are 2 floors of stairs without an elevator so it is difficult to carry your luggage up and down. Also difficult for people with knee and leg issues.
    – The water and room heating systems don't work properly. The hot water gets cold very fast and the room heating depends upon the government's supply (That's what they told us).
    – The dishwasher doesn't work
    – The bathroom is quite far away from the bedroom

  • Good – Ramshid from Kuwait – 18 October 2023 (7/10)

Rooms are spacious and good location

What could be improved: No elevator

  • Very much like the apartment. – Hong from Indonesia – 24 September 2023 (9/10)

    Wonderful location and comfortable apartment.

What could be improved: Sometimes it was noisy.
