It’s actually tucked away on this quiet residential street – Bəşir Səfəroğlu – that most tourists would never stumble across on their own, but honestly, that’s exactly what makes it work. I mean, you’re still right in the heart of Nasimi district, which puts you maybe fifteen minutes from the Old City if you catch a taxi, but without all the noise and chaos you’d get staying right on the main drags.

The building itself has this solid, no-nonsense feel that I really appreciated – not trying too hard to be boutique-y, just clean and well-maintained with apartments that actually feel like places you could live for a while, not just crash for a night. The folks running it clearly know what they’re doing (that 8.9 rating didn’t come from nowhere), and I found the whole check-in process refreshingly straightforward. What I loved most was the neighborhood vibe – you’ve got local bakeries and small shops within walking distance, plus you’re close enough to Fountain Square that you can easily pop over for dinner without feeling like you’re staying in some tourist bubble. The street gets pretty quiet at night, which was perfect for actually getting some sleep, though you’ll occasionally hear the call to prayer from nearby mosques if you’re a light sleeper – I found it kind of peaceful, actually.

Here’s the thing about staying in this part of Baku – you really get a sense of how locals live, especially if you take morning walks around the neighborhood. There’s this great little tea house about three blocks away that I never would have found if I’d been staying in one of those big international hotels near the waterfront. The apartments themselves are spacious enough that you don’t feel cramped (which is saying something for city accommodations), and the kitchenettes are actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the market down the street. Parking was surprisingly easy too – there’s usually space on the side streets, though like anywhere in Baku, you’ll want to get back before evening when everyone’s coming home from work. I’d definitely stay here again, particularly if I was in town for more than just a quick weekend, because it strikes that sweet spot between being centrally located and feeling like you’re experiencing the real city instead of just the tourist version of it.

  It was very good experience, the apartment hoster and her assistant welcome us warmly and explained everything in details. The apartment is very good and clean and have very nice sea view for our booking, AC, TV, and WiFi all is available and perfect. The location is really what we like the most, it's close to Nizami Street, just less than 10 minutes waking. You can pay by using the bank card during the check-in. Highly recommend it for visiting Baku.

  Thanks a million Sevil Madam and her team for our stay at Leyla Appartemt 2. Right from Taxi booking , to our appartment check in , late night query answering , everything was perfect. I would urge every Indian and also everyone , stay no where but here..From the view , to Indian restaurant to nizami street everything is close by. Full marks to her , her team and appartemt. Perfect in all sense. The appartemt is bigger than shown on photos and adequate. Sevil is very prompt and easily available.

  Well maintained, neat and clean. Many grocery stores and restaurants serving Indian food nearby. Nizami street it just 2 minute walk from the property. The staff is responsive to your needs.

  Highly recommended check-in was smooth meet a lady at front door she took us to the apartment gave all the details about the apartment. Regarding the stay it was 5 star everything was available as per the description many supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Overall 10/10
