Home Suites Baku-Halal Hotel Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Home Suites Baku? Walking up to this place on Xanlar street, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot in Sabayil – but this little hotel actually gets the fundamentals really right. The whole halal-certified thing isn’t just a label here; they’ve genuinely thought through what that means for travelers who need it, from the food options to the overall atmosphere. The staff seemed to understand the cultural nuances without making a big deal about it, which I appreciated.
The suites themselves are… well, they’re not going to blow you away with luxury, but they’re thoughtfully laid out in a way that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere that actually cares about comfort. I mean, the kitchenette setup was surprisingly functional – not just some mini-fridge shoved in a corner like you get at a lot of places. The beds were solid (firm, which I personally love), and honestly, the soundproofing was better than I expected for this area of the city. Sabayil can get pretty lively, especially on weekends, but I slept fine most nights. The Wi-Fi actually worked consistently too, which – let’s be real – isn’t always a given even at pricier hotels in Baku.
What really sold me on this place was how the location plays out in practice. You’re close enough to the old city that you can walk there without breaking a sweat, but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you’re not dealing with crowds every time you step outside. There’s this great little tea house just down the street that hardly any tourists know about, and the metro access is genuinely convenient without being right on top of you with all that noise. The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does well. For families or anyone who wants apartment-style flexibility with hotel services, especially if halal accommodation matters to you, this spot delivers without the premium price tag you’d pay closer to Fountain Square.

What could be improved: nothingSuperb – Thị from United Arab Emirates – 28 May 2024 (9/10)
The room is spacious, clean & comfortable. The staff have good english and very polite. It’s easy to get taxi to the Old quarter and within walking distance to the ocean. I like our stay there and recommend the hotel if you go to Baku.
What could be improved: It’s not that “dont like”, but it’s just that the breakfast choices are not a lot. But overall I think it’s better to have breakfast than nothing, because everything in Baku opens very late, so we appreciate the hotel offers breakfast.Great location – Um from Oman – 3 May 2024 (9/10)
The location
What could be improved: The breakfast needs to be upgraded and the rooms are small.
