The building itself – it’s got this solid, well-maintained feel that you don’t always get with apartment rentals, and the entrance actually looks like somewhere you’d want to stay (trust me, this matters more than you think).

The location is where this place really shines, though. Nizami Street is basically Baku’s main shopping strip, which sounds touristy but actually works in your favor. You’re literally walking distance from Fountain Square – hence the name, I guess – and you can easily wander down to the Old City without dealing with taxis or metro transfers. I mean, the whole Icherisheher area is maybe a 10-minute stroll, and you’ll pass some decent restaurants along the way. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night despite being so central. The street gets busy during the day with shoppers and office workers, but by evening it mellows out nicely.

The apartment itself feels more spacious than a typical hotel room, which is clutch if you’re staying more than a couple nights. The kitchen setup is actually functional – not just decorative like some places – and there’s enough counter space to spread out if you pick up groceries from the markets nearby. Honestly, the whole setup reminded me more of borrowing a friend’s place than staying in a rental, if that makes sense. The Wi-Fi was solid (tested it for work calls), and the shower pressure was better than half the hotels I’ve tried in the city. Small thing, but the windows face away from the main traffic flow, so you’re not dealing with constant street noise. Check-in was straightforward too – the Bakuapart folks seem to have their system down, which isn’t always a given with apartment rentals.

Here’s the thing about staying here versus a traditional hotel: you get that local neighborhood feel without sacrificing convenience. There’s a good bakery two blocks down that locals actually use, and you’re close enough to the Caspian waterfront that an evening walk becomes part of your routine rather than a planned excursion. The 8.6 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be luxury, but it delivers on what matters: location, comfort, and that feeling like you’re staying somewhere real rather than just passing through.

  Location of the apartment is really nice, lot of Indian restuarnts near by, many tourist attractions on walkable distance. Nizami street gives the Europe Vibe.
