They’re surprisingly accessible, and the 8.2 rating isn’t just inflated marketing nonsense.

The location is pretty brilliant if you know Baku at all. You’re in Nasimi district, which locals will tell you is where you want to be – close enough to the Old City’s charm but far enough from the tourist crowds that clog up Icherisheher on weekends. The Caspian Sea views from the higher floors are genuinely spectacular, especially at sunset when the whole bay turns this incredible golden color. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, despite being in the city. The building’s got solid construction (you won’t hear your neighbors arguing about football matches), and the windows actually seal properly – trust me, that matters when those Caspian winds pick up.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room, which is refreshing after staying in those cookie-cutter business hotels downtown. Kitchen’s fully equipped if you want to hit up the local markets – there’s a great one about ten minutes’ walk where vendors still remember your face after a few visits. Parking was easier than expected too, which is saying something for Baku. The building management is surprisingly responsive, though their English is limited (brush up on your basic Russian or Azerbaijani phrases). One small gripe – the Wi-Fi can be spotty during peak hours, but honestly, that might force you to actually look out the window at the city instead of scrolling through your phone. The whole experience feels like you’re living in Baku rather than just passing through, and for a 4-star place, that’s exactly what you want.

We texted him at 10 am that we will arrive at 2 pm and he said that he cancelled our reservation as you can see in the screen shots he didn’t cancel. Please be aware of this scammer owner! I added screen shots to prove it that the owner is SCAMMER!

  Большое спасибо хозяевам за отличную квартиру и приём. Приехали очень поздно. Встретили, всё показали. Хозяин всегда был на связи, помогал разобраться с бойлером и душем. Отличная кухня, много посуды. Кровати тоже удобные, достаточно постельного белья.
  
  What could be improved: Падает иногда давление в бойлере. Но, как я понимаю, это не вопрос к хозяевам. Это особенности жизни в Баку.

  Отличное расположение квартиры. Рядом станция метро, 5 минут ходьбы и (самое важное) круглосуточный магазин, что очень удобно при прилете с России, когда просыпаешся в 3 утра и хочется еды купить на завтрак. Макдак тоже рядом. И пара супермаркетов.
  В квартире есть всё необходимое для жизни (стиралка, микроволновка, чайник, сушилка, пылесос, фен, утюг, кондиционеры в каждой комнате!!!!!!!!!)
  Квартира расположена в доме на улице где полно магазинов…от канцтоваров до одежды и телефонов.. из окна видно море, но из-за жары это не пренципиально (жара-же), но бонус.
  Хозяин (Фархад) очень отзычивый, все вопросы по квартире решались в 20-30 мин.
  Телевизор (кабельное) принимает кучу российских каналов.
  В квартире wifi, но не самый быстрый (один девайс тянет ютубы, но если два или три девайса, то тормозит) зато в Баку не надо vpn, что актуально для россиян.
  Звукоизоляция в комнатах на уровне (ребенок спал в большой комнате, а мы в спальне – без проблем😉)
