Honestly, when I first walked up to this place on Azerbayjan prospect, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, “City center apartment” sounds pretty generic, right? But you know what really struck me was how the building sits right in the heart of Sabayil district, and once you’re inside, there’s this surprisingly quiet, residential feel despite being surrounded by all the action. The elevator’s one of those older European-style ones that makes you feel like you’re in a proper Baku building, not some sterile hotel chain.

The apartment itself is way more spacious than most places you’ll find in this part of town, and I loved how the windows actually open wide – which might sound silly, but after staying in sealed hotel boxes, getting that fresh Caspian breeze (when the wind’s right) makes such a difference. The kitchen’s fully stocked, which is clutch if you want to grab fresh bread and cheese from the little bakery just down the street instead of doing the hotel breakfast thing every morning. Speaking of location, you’re literally a five-minute walk from Fountain Square, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the weekend crowds stumbling around at 2 AM. I actually found myself using this as a proper base – leaving stuff spread out, making coffee in the morning, that whole routine you can’t really do in a regular hotel room.

What really sold me on this place was the little details that someone clearly thought through. The Wi-Fi actually works everywhere (I was on calls from the bedroom without issues), there’s decent water pressure in the shower, and the heating system doesn’t sound like a freight train at night. Plus, the host responds to messages quickly, which saved me when I couldn’t figure out the intercom system downstairs. I’ll be honest, the building’s entrance looks a bit worn from the street, but that’s just Baku for you – some of the best places hide behind unassuming doors. The whole setup feels like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have excellent taste and knows how to make guests comfortable. With a 9.5 rating, I was skeptical it could live up to the hype, but after three nights there, I get it. It’s not trying to be fancy – it’s just really, really good at being exactly what you need when you want to experience Baku like you live there, not like you’re passing through.

  Шикарная квартира, в квартире есть все удобства, расположение самое наилучшее, все достопримечательности в шаговой доступности, в квартире очень тихо и спокойно, есть целых три балкона.
  Вся техника в рабочем состоянии.

  Все как на фото, апартаменты супер. Все понравилось, на любые вопросы отвечали и быстро. Советую место для остановки все достопримечательности находятся очень близко.
  
  What could be improved: Был немного грязноватый пол и то некритично, есть тапочки. Добавила бы расходники в виде зубной пасты и геля для душа.
