It’s actually way nicer than the name suggests – I mean, “apartment near the mall” sounds pretty basic, but this is genuinely one of the better stays I’ve had in Baku. The location on Oqtay Kərimov puts you right in the heart of everything without dealing with the tourist chaos around the Old City, which honestly gets exhausting after a while.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile rental – there are these little touches everywhere that make a difference. The kitchen’s properly stocked (I’m talking real coffee, not those sad instant packets), and the bedrooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into your travel companion every five minutes. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re practically next door to Park Bulvar. The windows do a solid job blocking out street noise, and the AC doesn’t sound like a dying helicopter, which… well, if you’ve stayed in some Baku apartments, you know that’s not always a given. The whole place just feels well-maintained – like the shower actually has decent water pressure, and the WiFi doesn’t cut out every time someone in the building uses their microwave.

Here’s the thing about the mall situation – yes, Park Bulvar is massive and right there, but that’s actually brilliant for practical reasons. You’ve got everything from groceries to pharmacy stuff without having to figure out public transport or negotiate with taxi drivers. Plus, honestly, it’s kind of nice having that food court as a backup when you’re too tired to hunt down authentic local spots. The waterfront promenade is literally a two-minute walk, so you get those Caspian Sea views without paying resort prices. I found myself grabbing morning coffee from one of the cafés downstairs and just wandering along the water before the day got too hot. And if you’re planning to explore the Flame Towers or hit up some of the museums, you’re positioned perfectly – close enough to walk when the weather’s cooperating, but far enough away that you’re not surrounded by tour groups at breakfast. The whole area comes alive in the evenings too, with locals out walking and families gathering in the little parks nearby. It’s got that authentic neighborhood feel that’s getting harder to find in city centers.

  Были в Баку на новый год, двумя семейными парами. Квартира отличная, очень просторная, абсолютно все, что нужно для проживания есть. Очень чисто. Жили в ней 7 дней, потом ещё 10 дней ездили по Азербайджану, и перед отлётом ещё 2 ночи в Баку провели в другом месте. Из всего жилья это было самое лучшее. Просторная кухня гостиная, изолированные комнаты, отдельные санузлы, неплохая звукоизоляция, шикарный балкон, тихая улочка. До метро 10 минут пешком. В шаговой доступности кафе и магазины. Не самый центр, но и не окраина. Да и такси очень недорогое в Баку.
  После бронирования, хозяин Эльмин ответил на все вопросы. Однозначно рекомендую. Если будем в Баку, то только сюда )
