You know what’s funny about staying on Nizami Street? Everyone expects it to be crazy loud because it’s literally the main pedestrian thoroughfare in Baku, but this apartment on Rasul Rza – which runs parallel just one block over – actually gives you the best of both worlds. I mean, you’re close enough to pop out for dinner or shopping in like thirty seconds, but the street itself is surprisingly quiet at night. Well, mostly quiet. You’ll still hear some late-night chatter from people walking back from the bars, but honestly, it adds to the whole urban vibe rather than keeping you awake.

The apartment itself feels way more spacious than most hotel rooms you’d get for the same price in this area. The owners clearly put thought into the details – there’s actually decent water pressure in the shower (trust me, this matters in Baku), and the kitchen is set up like someone who cooks actually designed it. I loved having real coffee in the morning instead of those terrible instant packets most places give you. The living area has these big windows that let in tons of light, and if you crane your neck just right, you can catch a glimpse of the Flame Towers in the distance. The whole place has this modern feel but not in that sterile, all-white-everything way that makes you afraid to touch anything.

Location-wise, this is pretty much perfect if you want to explore Old City but don’t want to deal with the tourist crowds right outside your door. The metro station at 28 May is maybe a seven-minute walk, and there’s this little bakery – I think it’s called Çörək Evi – about halfway there that does incredible fresh bread in the mornings. Park Bulvar and the Caspian waterfront are close enough for an evening stroll, and you’re walking distance from some genuinely good restaurants that aren’t just targeting tourists. The check-in was smooth too – the property manager met me right on time and actually gave me her WhatsApp number in case anything came up, which felt refreshingly personal. Honestly, with a 9.4 rating, I was expecting maybe they were overselling it a bit, but if anything, the photos don’t quite capture how comfortable the whole setup actually is. It’s one of those places where you can picture yourself staying for a week without going stir-crazy, you know?

  Frankly speaking almost everything, the apartment is located at a spot which anyone would love to stay, Nizami street, is just 100 mtrs away, Mr,Movloud, took very good care , he explained everything in detail, he arranged transportation for us, the Apartment has all amenities, more than what you expect

  A lovely, clean and very centrally-located place that is within easy walking distance of all of Baku's highlights. Movlud is a very kind host and he was especially hekpful in maing a couple of calls on our behalf to get some local information. He is always available to assist and speaks excellent English. The apartment is well equipped and cosy. There is a little bit of street noise, but even as light sleepers it really didn't disturb us at all and we rested very well. In the middle of winter the apartment is nice and warm, and wifi is exceptionally fast. Highly recommended!

  I had a fantastic stay at this apartment! It was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The location is perfect, just a short walk to Nizami Street, making it super convenient. The owner was incredibly accommodating and understanding, even helping me with my baggage. On my last day, he kindly allowed me to keep the luggage until 12 p.m., which was a great help. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would highly recommend this place!
  
  What could be improved: The only thing I didn’t like was the entrance, which was a bit dirty with sand or something similar. However, I understand this isn’t entirely the owner’s responsibility. If that issue gets resolved, the apartment would be absolutely perfect.

  Apartment location was bang on Nizami Street. You literally just had to get down and there you were at the most prominent location of Baku.
  
  Hospitality of host Molvud was beyond warm. I have stayed in several apartments over the years but I am yet to meet a host as warm, hospitable and concerned for their guests as Molvud. He goes above and beyond to ensure that his guests are comfortable and they have everything they need.
  
  The check in time was 2pm but Molvud was kind enough to provide us a much early check in since our flight had reached early in the morning. I don't have words to thank him for the kind gesture he showed by arranging an alternate accommodation for us to stay till our room was ready.
  
  The apartment is on 3rd floor of the building, so he even helped us in carrying our heavy luggage to the apartment. During the stay also, he kept checking with us if everything was fine with us. His hospitality has exceeded our expectations.
  
  I would highly recommend anyone coming to Baku to stay in Molvud's apartment to get to best spots in city and to experience his hospitality.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing to dislike (but I wish there was a lift 😅)
