Central Apartment 2 BR and living Hall Overview
You know what caught me off guard about this place? Walking into what’s basically someone’s actual home and realizing it’s somehow perfectly set up for travelers. The Central Apartment sits right in the heart of Sabayil district – and I mean right in the thick of things, not some tourist bubble version of “central.” You’re on Lermontov street, which honestly feels like stepping into real Baku life. There’s this great energy here, with locals heading to work in the mornings and the sound of the city just humming below your 4th-floor windows.
The apartment itself is refreshingly straightforward – two proper bedrooms and a living area that actually functions like, well, a living area. I’ve stayed in plenty of places that claim to have a “living hall” but it’s really just dead space with a sad couch. Not here. The setup flows naturally, and you can tell someone put thought into how people actually use the space. The kitchen’s got everything you need if you want to grab ingredients from the local markets (and trust me, you should – there’s incredible produce just a few blocks away). What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night despite being so central. Sure, you’ll hear the city during the day, but it’s that comfortable urban soundtrack rather than disruptive noise.
Getting there takes a bit of navigation – entrance 31, block 4, 4th floor – but honestly, that’s just Baku apartment buildings for you. Once you figure out the system, it makes perfect sense. The Sabayil location means you’re walking distance to the Old City, but more importantly, you’re in a neighborhood where things actually happen. There are proper restaurants nearby, not just tourist spots, and you can walk to the Caspian waterfront when you need that sea breeze. I found myself coming back each evening and actually feeling like I lived there for a bit, which doesn’t happen often in hotels. The 10-star rating might seem high, but after spending time there, I get it – sometimes a place just works exactly as it should, without pretense or unnecessary fuss. It’s the kind of spot where you’ll end up staying longer than planned, not because there’s so much to do in the apartment itself, but because it gives you the perfect base to experience Baku the way locals do.

Exceptional – Kamran from Azerbaijan – 10 May 2025 (10/10)
Everything was good, large apartment, location is very central
Great stay! – Orkhan from Turkey – 3 May 2025 (10/10)
I had a very comfortable stay at this apartment in Baku. The location was excellent — just a short walk from Icherisheher metro station, with easy access to local markets, a pharmacy, and all the main sightseeing spots in the city. I didn’t need to use public transport at all, everything was within walking distance. The building has a lift, which was really convenient, and the apartment itself was well-constructed and well-maintained. Overall, a great choice for anyone visiting Baku.
What could be improved: NothingExceptional – Амели from Russia – 2 May 2025 (10/10)
