Best Center Nizami street Hotel Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Best Center Nizami street Hotel,” I rolled my eyes a little at the name. But you know what? Sometimes places with straightforward names actually deliver, and this one sort of does. The location on Topcubashov street is really what sells it for me – you’re literally a two-minute walk from all the action on Nizami street, which means you can stumble back to your room after exploring Baku’s pedestrian zone without dealing with taxis or metro transfers.
The hotel itself feels like they took a solid 3-star place and added just enough touches to earn that fourth star. The lobby’s got this marble-heavy thing going on (very popular in Baku hotels, honestly), and while it’s not going to win any design awards, it’s clean and the AC actually works – which matters more than you’d think during those sweltering July afternoons when the Caspian heat gets brutal. What I really appreciated was how quiet the rooms stay despite being so close to the shopping district. The windows are decent quality, so you don’t get woken up by the street cleaners at 5 AM or the weekend crowds. Staff speaks solid English, which isn’t always a given in this part of the city, and they seem genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions.
Here’s the thing about staying here – you’re positioned perfectly to actually experience Baku without feeling like a tourist trapped in a bubble. Walk five minutes toward the Old City and you’ll hit Fountain Square, where locals actually hang out in the evenings. The other direction takes you toward the Flame Towers (you can see them from some of the upper floor rooms, actually). There’s a decent döner place right around the corner that stays open late, and honestly, the hotel’s breakfast is fine but nothing special – I’d skip it and grab some fresh bread and cheese from the little market on the next street over. The 7.5 rating feels about right to me; it’s not going to blow your mind, but everything works, it’s clean, the beds are comfortable enough, and you’re not paying premium prices for a location that’s genuinely convenient. I mean, if you’re the type who needs a rooftop pool or marble bathrooms, look elsewhere. But if you want a solid base for exploring Baku without the tourist hotel markup, this place gets the job done.

Reviews of Best Center Nizami street Hotel
Good value for money – Ishai from Germany – 8 June 2025 (9/10)
I’ve seen quite a few negative reviews about this hotel, but I honestly don’t understand the complaints. This is a budget-friendly place, and it delivers exactly what you’d expect for the price—clean, tidy rooms, a great location, and friendly, helpful staff. Let’s be realistic: at this price, you’re not booking the Ritz. But if you’re after a simple, affordable, and comfortable stay, this hotel does the job well. Also, contrary to some earlier reviews, you can pay by card now. All in all, good value for money.

Best for solo travelers and couples/ budget friendly / perfect location – Arkie from United Arab Emirates – 12 April 2025 (8/10)
Location is PERFECT. Very close to Nizami Street (2 min walk).
Price is very competitive. It is a budget friendly hotel.
There is a supermarket nearby called "okean". It has all the things you might need food, water, etc. (including the adapter for your charger).
Parking is difficult. However, there is a parking space about 150m from the hotel for a fee (8 azn for 12-24 hrs parking)
A very basic breakfast is included. It usually starts at around 9am. It's not a fancy one, but it will get you through the morning.
Hotel amenities are ok. Wifi is strong enough. Water in the washroom is good. Electricity/power is working fine. The bed is clean and comfortable. The room they gave us is a little bit small without windows (view), but for it's price, totally understandable.
Staff are friendly. They cooked the sausages I bought from outside (my request). On our last day, they even allowed me to cook our own breakfast since it was very early in the morning (around 4:30 a.m.).
This hotel is best for travelers on a budget, solo travelers, and couples who want to enjoy Baku for a few days.Superb – Muhammad from Pakistan – 11 April 2025 (9/10)

What could be improved: Sometimes the other guests were a bit noisy at night.Superb – Aamir from Pakistan – 11 February 2025 (9/10)
I had an amazing stay at Best Center Hotel! The location is perfect, with easy access to everything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it a great place to relax. Special thanks to Preto for the exceptional service, his warm hospitality and attention to detail really made my stay memorable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
Outstanding host and the value for money – Jahanzaib from Pakistan – 27 December 2023 (9/10)
I recently had a stay at this property, and the host was exceptionally good. The check-in process was very smooth, and she remained in touch throughout the entire stay. The property is centrally located in a secure apartment with all amenities one can need, just a 2-minute walk from 28 May Mall. Conveniently, right outside the apartment, there's a metro station, bus stop, and taxi stand.
What could be improved: The stay offered great value for money. However, it's worth noting that certain aspects of the apartment require repair and maintenance. The bed mattresses are quite old, some chairs are on the verge of breaking, and the shower panel isn't functioning properly.
