The neighborhood has this authentic Baku feel – you’ll see locals heading to the small shops nearby, and there’s actually a decent bakery about two blocks down where the smell of fresh bread hits you around 7 AM.

What really got me was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about getting the details right. Check-in was smooth (they speak solid English, which helps), and they actually remembered my name the next morning – not in that forced hospitality way, but like they were just paying attention. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully set up, nothing fancy but everything works properly. The Wi-Fi is solid, the shower has decent pressure, and honestly, the bed was more comfortable than I expected for a 3-star place. You can hear some street noise during the day, but it dies down completely by evening, so sleep wasn’t an issue at all.

Here’s what I really appreciated – they get that most guests are dealing with travel logistics. There’s proper space to spread out your stuff, good lighting if you need to repack your bags, and they’ll arrange airport transfers without the usual runaround. The breakfast isn’t elaborate, but it’s fresh and filling, with some local touches alongside the standard continental options. Plus, if you’re into exploring Baku (which you should be – the Old City is incredible), they’re pretty knowledgeable about getting around the city efficiently.

The 9.6 rating actually makes sense once you stay there. It’s not trying to be a luxury resort or some Instagram-worthy boutique spot. Instead, it nails all the practical stuff that matters when you’re traveling – reliable service, comfortable rooms, fair pricing, and that sweet spot between airport convenience and local authenticity. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels that cost twice as much and delivered half the thoughtfulness.

  Very responsible host. Apartment has very good condition. Supermarket pharmacy small restaurants 1 minute from the apartment. 5 minutes drive from the airport. Host offers free pick up and send to airport. Very convenient. Highly recommend!!!

  Huseyn kept in contact before we arrived to see if there was anything we needed and sent us the location on WhatsApp so it was easy to find. The apartment was so clean and comfortable and was in a really handy location as we had an early flight. Huseyn gave us a lift really early for a very reasonable price.

  Siamo stati spostati in una premium house! Fantastica! La casa era enorme e attrezzata di ogni cosa immaginabile. Cucina perfetta. Casa pulita. Host molto disponibile e parla inglese (cosa non scontata in Azerbaijan). In caso di necessità fornisce vari servizi. La casa è in posizione perfetta per l'aeroporto. La consiglierei sicuramente.
