Okay, so I’ll be honest – when I first heard “ZENFT Apartment” I thought it was going to be some trendy tech-themed place, but it’s actually this incredibly sophisticated spot right on Neftçilər Prospekti that completely caught me off guard. The location is pretty genius, actually – you’re literally on one of Baku’s main arteries, which sounds like it would be chaos, but the way they’ve positioned everything, you get all the energy of the city without feeling like you’re camping out in traffic.

The apartment itself… well, it’s one of those places where every single thing has been thought through. I mean, you walk in and immediately notice it’s not trying too hard to impress you – it just does. The design feels distinctly Baku modern, if that makes sense, with these clean lines that somehow don’t feel sterile. What really got me was the attention to small stuff that most places totally miss. The lighting actually works for reading (revolutionary concept, right?), the shower pressure doesn’t give up halfway through, and – this might sound weird – but the windows are positioned so you get this amazing view of the city’s rhythm without feeling like you’re in a fishbowl. You know what I love? In the evening, you can watch the whole Sabayil district come alive, and there’s something almost hypnotic about it.

The neighborhood itself is where this place really shines though. You’re walking distance from the Old City – I’m talking like a fifteen-minute stroll – but you’re also surrounded by some of the best contemporary Baku has to offer. There’s this little tea house about two blocks down that locals actually go to (not just tourists), and honestly, some of the best meals I had were just wandering around this area. The Metro’s close enough that you can explore without dealing with Baku traffic, but far enough that you’re not hearing train announcements at 6 AM. Parking’s actually manageable here too, which – if you’ve driven in Baku – you know is basically a minor miracle. The whole building has this quiet efficiency to it; check-in was seamless, the staff clearly knows the neighborhood inside and out, and there’s this sense that they’ve figured out how to make luxury feel relaxed rather than intimidating. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay not because there’s more to see, but because you just don’t want to leave.
