SecretS Room Overview

You know what struck me first about SecretS Room? The name actually makes sense once you’re there – it’s tucked away on M. Xiyabani street in this surprisingly quiet pocket of Yasamal, and honestly, you’d walk right past it if you weren’t looking. But that’s kind of the charm. I mean, here you are in the middle of Baku, just minutes from all the Flame Towers madness and the Old City buzz, yet when you step inside, it feels like someone’s sophisticated friend just handed you the keys to their private apartment. The lobby – well, calling it a lobby feels too formal – it’s more like walking into a really well-designed living room where someone clearly obsessed over every detail. The lighting hits just right, especially in the evenings when the city starts winding down outside.

The location thing is interesting because Yasamal doesn’t get the same tourist attention as, say, Icherisheher, but actually that works in your favor. You’re close enough to walk to the main attractions when you want that energy, but far enough to escape the cruise ship crowds and overpriced tourist traps. I found myself grabbing morning tea at this little place around the corner where the owner barely spoke English but made incredible qutab – the kind of spot you’d never find if you stayed in the obvious hotel districts. The street itself gets pretty quiet after 9 PM, which means you’ll actually sleep (something I can’t say for every place I’ve stayed in Baku). Parking was surprisingly painless too, though I’d still recommend asking them about it when you book.

What really got me was the attention to those small things that most places completely miss. The wifi actually works everywhere – not just “technically works” but legitimately fast enough for video calls. The bathroom products smelled amazing, like someone spent time picking them out rather than just ordering whatever was cheapest in bulk. And the beds… look, I’m usually skeptical when places claim premium everything, but I slept better there than I had in weeks. The rooms have this lived-in elegance that feels authentic rather than sterile – think carefully curated vintage pieces mixed with modern comfort, not some designer’s idea of what luxury should look like. The staff genuinely seemed to care about whether you had what you needed, without that overly rehearsed hospitality thing that makes you feel like you’re bothering them. When I couldn’t figure out the best way to get to Gobustan, the guy at the front desk didn’t just point me toward the tourist buses – he actually called his cousin who drives there regularly and set up something way more interesting and affordable. That 9.8 rating isn’t accidental; it comes from doing the basics exceptionally well and then adding those unexpected touches that make you want to come back.

  Квартира на 18 этаже.
  Вид фантастический, и утром и особенно вечером.
  Квартира просторная, есть второй этаж-спальня.
  Мебель новая, чисто!
  На кухне есть кастрюли, сковородки, приборы.
  Около дома супермаркет.
  И автобусная остановка рядом, можно доехать на автобусе до центра.
  У жилья очень хорошее соотношение цены и качества.
  И суперхозяин!
  Рауф встретил на, все рассказал, всегда был на связи и в течении проживания спрашивал все ли хорошо.
  И в общении он очень приятный.
  
  What could be improved: Сам район достаточно грязный, много автосервисов, моек. но не обращайте на это внимания. Садитесь сразу в транспорт и езжайте в центр. Здесь живут самые обычные люди и мы ни разу себя не почувствовали не в безопасности. Л

  First class apartment. Clean, spacious, super well equipped. Amazing owner. So helpful.
  Location is rather far from Baku old city, but that is not a problem as public transport is avaliable closeby (bus stop right in front of building where apartment is located) + taxis in so reasonable prices.
  All in all very recommended. 10/10 definitely.

  Отдыхала впервые в городе Баку , долго выбирать жилье не пришлось – сразу же приглянулся необычный дизайн квартиры в двух уровнях ! В квартире как описано на сайте все есть : две спальни, удобные кровати и диван, оборудованная кухня , со всеми видами техники ( плита , холодильник, микроволновка, термопот, кофемашина, посуда и тд) Современное освещение с подсветками отдельная тема ! Просто класс !!! Гостинная комната оборудована мебелью, кондиционером , телевизором с интернетом. Вешалки для одежды. Очень приятно порадовали живые цветы в вазе , а также предусмотренные для приезда гостей вроде мелочи – вода , чай , печенье , салфетки и тд . Также имеется минибар с напитками. Витражные окна в пол с москитной сеткой с выходом на балкон . Изюминкой апартаментов является же конечно панорамный вид на город Баку с 18 этажа !!! Восходы , закаты можно часами наблюдать в удобном кресле за чашечкой чая или кофе . Буду очень скучать по этому виду ! Также приятно принимать душ с видом из окна на город 😊. Ванная комната оборудована стиральной машиной , имеется фен. Отдельные слова благодарности хочу выразить хозяину квартиры Рауфу . Редкостной внешней и внутренней красоты и доброты этот молодой человек! Предоставил бесплатный трансфер с аэропорта и обратно . Обеспечил картой на проезд в общественном транспорте ! Установил на телефон приложение Болт ( типа нашего Яндекса ) на такси и симку с интернетом ( бесплатно ) . Так как я совмещала еще и пляжный отдых – показал где находится недорогой пляж ( в сравнении с другими -30-50 манат ) пляж с шезлонгом , вай фаем , раздевалкой 5 манат . Апартаменты находятся в тихом районе на окраине города – что позволяет быстро добраться до пляжа. Рядом аптека , супермаркет , шаурмичная , остановка транспорта и тд . На такси по приложению Болт можно доехать до пляжа за 5-6 манат . В любое время суток можно обратиться к Рауфу за любой помощью . В квартире чисто , сухо и тепло .

  نقطة مهمة انتبه لاوقات تسجيل الدخول ونسق مع المالك قبل لتجنب اي إشكالية قد تحدث.

  Дружелюбный хозяин. Когда не получалось закрыть дверь на балкон он позвонил и объяснил, также когда мы оттуда съезжали я забыл свою зарядку от телефона, на следующий день он привез он мне.
  Квартира очень уютная и атмосферная, теплый пол отличный бонус, чисто и ухожено, ремонт как новый, за эти деньги лучше варианта не найти.

  Our stay at the Secrets Room was great. The host was really welcoming, kind and available whenever needed. He provided us with a 3 pin converter as soon as we arrived and showed us around the apartment. Not only that but he also found us conveyance to the airport and paid for it himself which was very kind of him. The apartment was comfortable, warm and cozy with a lovely view of the city from the balcony. The floors were heated which helped in the chilly weather. All the mentioned amenities were there. The lighting inside the apartment was superb. We had an incredible stay in this apartment.
