Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name “Secrets Room Baku,” I was expecting something either cheesy or pretentious. But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked away in the Yeni Yasamal 2 area, which is honestly one of those neighborhoods that’s becoming really interesting if you know where to look. You’re not in the touristy Old City, but you know what? That’s exactly why it works.

The hotel feels like someone took a boutique concept and actually executed it properly. I mean, a 9.7 rating sounds almost too good to be true, but after staying there, I get it. The rooms have this understated elegance – nothing flashy, just really thoughtful design choices that make sense when you’re actually living in the space for a few days. The bathrooms are particularly well done (marble that doesn’t feel cold, surprisingly good water pressure), and honestly, the beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve encountered in Baku. What really got me was the attention to little things – proper blackout curtains that actually block light, outlets exactly where you need them, and that rare thing in hotels: genuinely good WiFi throughout the building.

The Yasamal district itself is having a bit of a moment. You’ve got proper cafes within walking distance, some solid restaurants that locals actually frequent, and it’s easy enough to get to the main attractions without being stuck in the middle of tourist chaos. The hotel staff seems to understand this balance – they’re not constantly trying to upsell you on tours, but they know the area well enough to point you toward the places worth your time. Parking isn’t a nightmare here either, which anyone who’s driven in Baku will appreciate. The whole place runs smoothly without feeling corporate or sterile. Sometimes you find these smaller hotels where the ambition exceeds the execution, but Secrets Room actually delivers on what it promises – a genuinely comfortable stay in a city that’s got more going on than most people realize.

  Хочется поделиться опытом съёма жилья у Рауфа.
  Чтобы почувствовать весь масштаб происходящего, начну с самого начала.
  Как часто ваши арендодатели посреди ночи встречали вас в аэропорту (после 2-х часовой задержки рейса) и везли в апартаменты? Такое бывало? Бывало. Хорошо, тогда другой вопрос: как часто это делали по вашей просьбе без какой-либо оплаты?)
  Зайдя в квартиру, первое, что мы увидели — огромный букет розовых альстромерий. Второе — коробку конфет на обеденном столе. Приятно? Ещё как.
  Показав квартиру и всё, что нам может в эти дни понадобиться, Рауф вручил городскую проездную карту (с плюсовым балансом!) и местную сим-карту (в комплекте шла иголочка на случай, если айфон, и без неё не справиться). Предусмотрительно? Очень.
  После чего ответил на гору вопросов впервые оказавшихся в Баку туристов и скромно удалился (напомню: времени около 5 утра).
  Когда с основными оргвопросами было покончено, я решила осмотреться и первым делом выбежала на балкон. Но то, что я там увидела, заставило забыть и о цветах, и о конфетах
  18 этаж. 5:40. Пылающий рассвет. Мой первый рассвет в Баку. Это было невероятно 💔
  Если вдруг вы сомневаетесь в локации — смущает район, отдалённость центра или что-то ещё, — пересмотрите эти кадры.
  За время отпуска мы попали немного в стрессовую валютно-денежную ситуацию. Опущу подробности, как это произошло, но Рауф без вопросов решил и её. А ещё кучу мелких бытовых моментов.
  Стоит ли говорить, что всё это время он был на связи, а после — отвёз в аэропорт?)
  В общем, обманула я вас, когда пообещала отзыв на квартиру. Получился отзыв на её хозяина)) Но что поделать — нам очень повезло. И вам повезёт, если приедете в Баку и решите остановиться у Рауфа!

  The apartment is in a new building, next to the building there is a bus stop to the nearest metro station, international bus station nearby. There are two elevators in the building.The apartment is on the 18th floor, in the dark from the balcony there is a gorgeous view of the night Baku – Boulevard, Flame Towers and more. Very comfortable accommodation for a family, single travelers or a group of friends. The apartment is very warm, the owner was available for any questions, the check-in was easy and fast, I recommend!

  It was a high rise building on the 18th floor. Good view of Baku and it's environs. The heating system was beautiful that is underground from the floor. Good space . The security was tight.

  What could be improved: You have to walk one flight of stairs from the 17th floor to get to the 18th floor. It is still under construction. This should be done quickly

  The property exceeded my expectations – it offers pretty views from 17th floor, spacious clean room, bathroom and a full kitchen. The host is very helpful: he picked me up from he shuttle bus, drove me to show around and gave some good recommendations. I would highly recommend this property.
