I was expecting just another generic apartment rental on Neftçilər prospekti, but walking into this two-bedroom spot actually felt like stepping into someone’s well-loved home rather than a sterile hotel room. The building itself sits right on one of Baku’s main arteries – and yes, you’ll hear some traffic, especially during rush hour – but honestly, it becomes white noise pretty quickly, and the energy of the street below is kind of energizing.

The apartment itself has this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake. I mean, the kitchen actually has proper cooking equipment (not just a sad hot plate), and whoever stocked it clearly thinks about what travelers actually need – there’s even a decent coffee setup, which saved my mornings more than once. The bedrooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into furniture, and the bathrooms… well, let’s just say the water pressure is excellent, something you can’t always count on in this part of town. What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night despite being on such a busy street – the windows must be properly insulated because I slept like a rock.

Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned to explore Sabayil district without feeling like you’re stuck in touristy bubble. There’s a solid bakery about two blocks down that locals actually use (you’ll smell the bread in the morning), and getting to the Old City or the Flame Towers is straightforward – either a pleasant walk if the weather’s cooperating or a quick taxi ride when it’s not. The building has that slightly worn Soviet-era exterior that doesn’t photograph well but inside, everything’s been thoughtfully updated. Parking can be a bit of a dance during busy periods, but the host knows the neighborhood tricks. Honestly, with that 9.2 rating, I was skeptical it could live up to the hype, but after spending a few days here, I get it – it’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just genuinely comfortable and well-run. If you’re looking for marble lobbies and concierge service, this isn’t your spot, but if you want a place that feels like home base while you explore Baku, you’d be hard-pressed to do better in this price range.

  We arrived at early morning, the host contacted us in advance and was very kind to help us with everything. The accommodation is in a very good location, with all major attractions within a few minutes walk. The building is quiet and there is a lift. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a very good wine bar in the basement of the building. For a few days stay, I think it is a perfect choice!
  
  What could be improved: The doors are sometimes difficult to open, the TVs seem to not work, but maybe we were inexpert 😀 The door handles sometimes come off, and the water stones in a few places need cleaning.

  What could be improved: The traffic noise outside is insane. Bring earplugs. Not the fault of the apartment – just a part of being in the city.

  + The location of the Apartments is perfect – it's close to many popular attractions and restaurants, making it incredibly convenient for tourists.
  
  The staff were also a standout feature of my stay. They were friendly and attentive, and even surprised me with a birthday cake as a gift. I want to give a special thanks to the cleaning lady Zubayra for her warm congratulations – it was a nice and unexpected touch that made my stay even more memorable.

  Right in the centre of the most exciting part of Baku town . Restaurants, bars and many interesting tourist highlights are all within walking distance.Well done to the management for making our visit so memorable.
