Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Luxury Loft by Bakuapart when I first booked it – the name sounds a bit corporate, you know? But walking into this place on Bulbul Avenue completely changed my mind. It’s tucked into this quiet residential street in Nasimi, which is actually perfect because you’re away from the tourist chaos but still close enough to walk to the Old City when you want to explore.

The loft itself feels like someone’s incredibly stylish apartment that they decided to rent out – and I mean that in the best way possible. The space has these high ceilings and huge windows that let in amazing light during the day, plus the design hits that sweet spot between modern and cozy. What really got me was the attention to detail; there’s this little coffee setup with actual good beans (not the usual hotel instant stuff), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that you don’t want to leave. The kitchen is fully equipped too, which saved me a fortune since eating out in Baku every night can add up quickly. I actually ended up cooking a few meals there, and it felt surprisingly natural – like I was staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel room.

Location-wise, you’re golden here. Bulbul Avenue is one of those streets where you see actual Bakuvians going about their daily lives – there’s a great little bakery two blocks down where the locals grab their morning bread, and you’ll hear kids playing in the courtyard in the evenings. It’s about a fifteen-minute walk to Fountain Square if you want the nightlife scene, but honestly, some of my favorite moments were just sitting by the window with a cup of tea, watching the neighborhood wake up. The 9.6 rating makes total sense when you experience the whole package – the host responds to messages within minutes, the place is spotless, and there’s this genuine warmth to the whole experience that’s hard to find in traditional hotels. Fair warning though: the building’s entrance is a bit understated, so don’t expect a flashy hotel lobby. But once you’re inside the loft, you’ll realize that’s exactly what makes this place special.
