City Center Apartment Overview

You know what struck me first about the City Center Apartment? It’s actually in one of those spots where you get the best of both worlds – right on Neftçilər Prospekti but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise. I mean, this is prime Sabayil territory we’re talking about, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better if you’re trying to get a real feel for Baku without staying in some sterile hotel tower.

The apartment itself feels more like crashing at a well-connected local friend’s place than your typical tourist accommodation. The 4-star rating isn’t just marketing fluff here – they’ve actually thought about the details that matter. The kitchen’s properly equipped (not just a sad mini-fridge and microwave situation), and the Wi-Fi actually works consistently, which… well, if you’ve traveled around this region, you know that’s not always a given. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re basically in the heart of everything. The windows are decent quality, and the building itself has that solid Soviet-era construction that just blocks sound better than these modern glass boxes.

Here’s the thing about staying on Neftçilər – you’re walking distance from the Old City, but you’re also close enough to the newer developments that finding good coffee or grabbing groceries isn’t a production. The Flame Towers are right there doing their light show thing every evening, and honestly, watching that from your window never gets old. Check-in was surprisingly smooth too, none of that awkward waiting around while they figure out key codes or whatever. The 9.3 rating makes sense when you actually stay there – it’s not perfect (the shower pressure could be better, and the elevator’s a bit temperamental), but it hits all the important notes. If you’re planning to spend time exploring rather than just hiding in your room, this place gets you plugged into the real Baku pretty quickly.

  Tudo maravilhoso!!! O host, Aydin, foi extremamente atencioso, nos esperou com kits de toalhas, chinelos e escovas de dentes novas, além de um kit de produtos Azerbaijanos como vinho e romã. O apartamento é impecável, estava extremamente limpo. O chuveiro funciona bem, a roupas de cama eram novas. MUITO bem localizado, ao lado da cidade murada e dos melhores restaurantes, porém o era silencioso e tinha uma vista linda pra cidade. Nossa estadia FOI PERFEITA!
