It’s tucked away on Mardanov Gardashlary – you know, that street that runs parallel to the main drag but feels way more residential and quiet. When I first pulled up, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the name “AERİA,” but once you’re inside, it actually makes sense. The whole place has this airy, open feel that’s pretty rare for apartment-style accommodations in this part of the city.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between feeling like a proper hotel and having the comfort of staying in someone’s well-appointed apartment. The rooms are spacious – I mean genuinely spacious, not that “cozy” nonsense where you can barely open your suitcase. The kitchen setup is actually functional too, which matters if you’re staying more than a couple nights and want to grab some fresh pomegranates from the local market instead of eating out every meal. The bathrooms have this modern, clean aesthetic without being sterile, and honestly, the water pressure was better than some five-star places I’ve been to (though I suppose that’s what you’d expect from a five-star rating). One thing that caught my attention – the windows are really well insulated. Baku can get pretty windy, especially in this area, but you hardly notice it inside.

The location is solid without being in the absolute thick of everything. You’re close enough to walk to the decent restaurants and cafes, but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you can actually get some sleep. There’s a little bakery about two blocks down that locals hit up for morning pastries – the kind of place you stumble onto rather than find on TripAdvisor. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak hours, but that’s pretty standard for this neighborhood. The staff seems to know their stuff too; when I had a minor issue with the WiFi, they sorted it out quickly without making it feel like a big production. I’d say the 8-rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but everything works well and you’ll be comfortable. It’s the kind of place where you might actually extend your stay by a day or two because it just feels… easy, you know? Perfect for business travelers who want something nicer than a standard hotel room, or couples looking for a bit more space and privacy than the typical Baku hotel scene offers.
