The location is what really makes this spot special. I mean, you’re literally living inside Icherisheher – the UNESCO World Heritage old town that tourists pay entrance fees to visit. From the apartment windows, you can see the maze of cobblestone streets that have been here for centuries, and honestly, the morning light hitting those weathered stone walls is pretty magical. The building itself is typical of the area (old, a bit worn around the edges), but that’s part of the charm. You’ll hear the call to prayer from nearby mosques and the gentle hum of locals going about their daily routines – it’s authentic in a way that bigger hotels just can’t match.

What surprised me most was how well-maintained everything inside actually is, especially considering it’s a 3-star place. The apartment has this cozy, lived-in feel with traditional Azerbaijani touches that don’t feel forced or touristy. The kitchen is small but functional – perfect if you want to grab some fresh pomegranates and cheese from the local vendors downstairs and have a simple breakfast. Speaking of downstairs, you’re maybe a two-minute walk from the Maiden Tower and all the main sights, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with constant tour groups outside your door. The only real downside? The stairs to the fifth floor can be a bit of a workout if you’re carrying heavy luggage (and there’s no elevator), but honestly, after a few days of exploring Baku on foot, you won’t even notice. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you experience how it feels to actually live in this historic neighborhood rather than just visit it during the day.

  The host is very nice and helpful. We arrived after midnight, and he came to receive us and took us to his friend's restaurant for food. the location is prime, right in front of the entrance gate of icheri sheher. everything is nearby, within walking distance.

  Апартаменты находятся в старом городе, т.е. это самый центр Баку, но при этом в укромном месте, где достаточно тихо и спокойно. Все главные достопремечательности расположены в шаговой доступности. В номере есть всё необходимое как для короткого, так и для более длительного путешествия: холодьльник, плита, посуда, утюг, стиральная машина, сушилка, хороший wi-fi, большая удобная кровать. Фуад, хозяин апартаментов, всегда готов прийти на помощь.

  Super location. Right in the Old City and across the road from promenade. The apartment is equipped with all necessary utensils. But what is the most important – the host's personality. Fuad was extremely helpful and even spent his personal time showing us, where to eat and shop in the city. He met us at the door upon arrival and said good buy, when we were leaving. It was very sweet! Definitely recommend this place for the potential visitors!

  The host Fuad was as friendly and attentive as possible. He answered in a timely manner and gave his contacts after booking. He provided a transfer from the airport for a small fee (we arrived at night). He helped us with any questions and stayed connected all the time. The location is really amazing, right in the authentic house in the old city, all the attractions are close. The location offsets the size of the apartments. It was a great deal for this price. I recommend.

  The apartment is very compact, there is everything needed for a comfortable stay. In reality, the apartment is better than it looks in the photos. The apartment has a fabulous lightening system, comfortable bed and all necessary equipment in the kitchen and bathroom. The location is perfect.

  An excellent experience to stay at the apartment. Great location, quiet and calm, super clean place, everything at the property looks new or recently renovated. I was pleasantly surprised when I came to know that the apartment building itself is historical. I found everything I needed at the apartment. The host is an excellent and friendly person who provided support and assistance whenever I needed it. Would definitely stayover again in my future trips to Azerbaijan
