You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name is basically just “Located in a good place” in Russian, which honestly made me chuckle when I first saw it. But after spending a few days there, I get it – sometimes the simplest descriptions are the most accurate ones.

The hotel sits right on Izzet Nabiyev Street in Sabayil, and if you know Baku at all, you’ll appreciate how central this actually is. I mean, you’re walking distance from the Old City walls, but far enough from the main tourist crush that you can actually sleep at night. The Novruzov Brothers area (that’s what locals call this part of Sabayil) has this great mix of residential calm and city energy – you’ll hear the call to prayer from nearby mosques in the early morning, but it’s not jarring, just part of the rhythm of the place. What really sold me was how easy it was to grab a marshrutka or taxi from right outside. The drivers actually know this street, which isn’t always a given with some of the newer hotels tucked away in random spots.

The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense feel that a lot of Baku’s newer accommodations have – clean lines, decent lobby, staff who speak enough English to sort out whatever you need. I stayed during shoulder season in October, and check-in was smooth, though I did notice they get pretty busy during the oil conference season if you’re planning around that. The rooms have this practical comfort thing going on – not trying to be flashy, but everything works, the AC actually cools the room down (crucial in Baku summers), and the beds are firm enough that you won’t wake up with a backache. Honestly, the 8.7 rating makes sense to me. It’s not perfect – the elevator can be a bit slow during busy times, and the breakfast spread is decent but not spectacular – but for a 4-star place, it delivers on what matters. The shower pressure is solid, there’s actual hot water when you want it, and the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes like some places I’ve stayed in the region. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the soundproofing is actually pretty good. Baku can get noisy, especially with construction happening everywhere, but I slept well most nights. If you’re here for business or just want a reliable base to explore the city without breaking the bank on one of those fancy Flame Towers hotels, this place hits the sweet spot between comfort and practicality.

  7 ночей провели в этой квартирке. Очень просторная, современная, уютная. Основной набор для проживания был. В каждой комнате телевизор и кондиционер – это удобно. Окна из спальни выходят во двор, а из зала вид на пламенные башни. Остановки транспорта недалеко. Рядом Нагорный парк, виды оттуда просто шикарные!!!
  Единственный нюанс: рядом нет продуктовых магазинов и банков. Если спуститься на фуникулере/пешком вниз, то там уже будет несколько банков, Дэниз мол.
  Хозяин квартиры всегда на связи, заселил нас сразу после прилета, хотя рейс был ночной.
  Впечатления после поездки только хорошие остались!
