The apartment-style setup really works here too. Instead of that cramped hotel room feeling, you get actual space to spread out. The kitchenette isn’t just for show either – there’s a decent-sized fridge and the stovetop actually works properly, which honestly surprised me. Perfect if you want to grab some fresh lavash and cheese from the local market and have breakfast without paying hotel restaurant prices.

What really sold me on this place was the staff’s approach. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no lengthy presentations about spa services you don’t want. They just handed over the keys and gave genuinely helpful directions to places I actually wanted to go. The cleaning crew clearly takes pride in their work too; everything felt properly clean, not just surface-level tidy. And here’s something you don’t always get in this price range – reliable hot water pressure. I know it sounds basic, but after a long day walking around Baku’s windy streets, a proper shower makes all the difference. The location really shines when you start exploring. You’re positioned well for both business travelers heading to the Flame Towers area and tourists wanting to hit the classic spots. The Caspian waterfront is maybe a 10-minute taxi ride, and drivers actually know where this street is (which isn’t always guaranteed with some of the newer developments). Plus there’s decent parking nearby if you’ve rented a car – not easy to find in central Baku. I noticed the building stays pretty secure too, with proper entry systems that work consistently. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where locals actually go about their daily business, so you get a sense of real Baku life instead of just the tourist bubble. Honestly, for the price point, this place delivers exactly what you’d hope for – clean, comfortable, well-located, and run by people who seem to actually care about doing their job well rather than just going through the motions.
