You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first saw the address on Həsənoğlu Street – it’s one of those residential blocks that looks pretty standard from the outside. But honestly, this apartment completely surprised me in the best way possible. The location is actually brilliant if you know Baku at all. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the Heydar Aliyev Center (hence the name), which means you get that stunning architectural backdrop without dealing with the tourist crowds right outside your door. I mean, you can see Zaha Hadid’s masterpiece from some of the windows, but you’re tucked away enough that it feels like you’re living in a real neighborhood.

The apartment itself has that careful attention to detail that you don’t always get with vacation rentals. The owners clearly put thought into what travelers actually need – decent WiFi that works throughout the space, proper blackout curtains (trust me, Baku summers are bright), and a kitchen that’s actually equipped for cooking, not just heating up leftovers. The beds are comfortable without being fancy, and there’s this nice balance of modern updates mixed with some traditional Azerbaijani touches that don’t feel forced or touristy. What really got me was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re in the city. The building has good sound insulation, and Həsənoğlu isn’t one of those streets where cars are honking at all hours.

Here’s the thing about staying here – you’re positioned perfectly for exploring both sides of Baku. The metro isn’t far if you want to head into the Old City or down to the Caspian waterfront, but you’re also close enough to walk to some of the newer districts where locals actually hang out. There’s a decent grocery store about two blocks away (the kind where you can grab fresh bread and local cheese), and I discovered this little tea house nearby that definitely doesn’t show up in guidebooks. The 9.6 rating makes sense when you experience how smoothly everything works – check-in was straightforward, the place was spotless, and when I had a small question about the heating, someone responded within an hour. It’s not luxury in the marble-and-chandeliers sense, but it’s that kind of thoughtful comfort that makes you feel like you could actually live there for a while. If you’re the type who wants to experience Baku like a temporary resident rather than just ticking off tourist sites, this spot gets the balance exactly right.

  Отличная, чистая, уютная квартира. Очень удобно, что в каждой комнате отдельеый санузел , один с душем, другой с джакузи. Были приятно удивлены ,что по приезду не надо было искать чай, кофе, все было в наличии и минеральная вода тоже), в ванной были все необходимые принадледности. Отдельное спасибо хозяину квартиры Тогрулу, за внимание и гостеприимство, даже только ради него можно брать в аренду эту уютную квартиру. Если бы можно было поставить 20 звёзд, то поставили бы. Очень рекомендуем!!!!
